Absolutely try Neuro Ristorante in Polignano! The atmosphere in this place is unique, in the main square of the historic centre, thanks to the family management which makes it so special. Dad is an exceptional chef, capable of creating dishes that enhance the authentic flavors of Puglia with a touch of originality. Mom in the kitchen is the soul of the restaurant, with her passion and dedication found in every course. And then there is Paolo, who with his kindness and professionalism makes you immediately feel at home. We enjoyed a memorable lunch, from the appetizers with fresh local products to the first courses of homemade pasta, up to the fresh fish cooked in a sublime way. You can clearly perceive the love and care that this family puts into their work, and this translates into a culinary experience of the highest level. The service is impeccable, attentive and never intrusive. The prices are absolutely honest considering the quality of the dishes and the welcoming atmosphere. Neuro Ristorante is a true jewel in Polignano, a place where you eat divinely and feel pampered. Congratulations to the whole family for their passion and dedication! Well located restaurant with pleasant surroundings, friendly staff who make the effort to speak your language. Our dishes lacked a little flavor all the same, macarronis with sausages with a big lack of toppings and my legs with eggplant and parmesan I didn't find the eggplant, but it was still good.

I highly recommend this restaurant with unique traditional food from Puglia. Wonderful grilled octopus (much better cooked than the octopus I often eat in Greece) Magical pasta with seafood. The wine is also top notch!

Precioso restaurante y servicio amable, aunque el restaurante estaba super lleno, no esperamos tanto. Comimos ensalada de mariscos y sopa de mejillones para empezar y luego tuvimos tagliatelle de langosta y ñoquis con mariscos. Todos fueron geniales. Me sorprende ver que solo tienen 3 estrellas.

Friendly staff and excellent food

My sister and I had a wonderful meal in a great, hidden part of town. The restaurant was full of charm and the meal was fabulous. Our server (owner?) was absolutely fantastic and endured our endless questions about Italy, the language, and the food. Could not have asked for a better night on our only night in Polignano a Mare! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and warm hospitality….even if he didn’t know what a Pizzelle was! 😉🍷❤️
