Hello dear readers,
We (5 adults and 5 children) ate at La Ventola twice.
Atmosphere:
The tables are located under a veranda and therefore mostly in the shade. The outdoor area, the restaurant, and the restrooms were well-maintained and clean. There's a small "playground" for the children, making the wait for their food easier.
Food:
The selection wasn't huge, but absolutely sufficient. The value for money was great, and all the dishes were delicious.
Service:
The service staff was attentive and very friendly. Communication was excellent using a mix of Italian, German, and English.
Note:
Unfortunately, we only ate twice, as the restaurant was subsequently closed by the Italian authorities...

We got a pizza and took it to the beach. It was delicious! It wasn't sliced, though; you'd have to remember to bring a knife for cutting it.

The service was ignorantly distant and completely unfriendly; we felt unwelcome. The food was good, the pizza truly above average! However, the timing was terrible; the pizza arrived minutes later, and the other dishes 20 minutes later. The coperto was €2.50, with no special service, so it was rather overpriced. What was absolutely unacceptable: the espresso was €2.50! We won't be going back.

There was nothing wrong with the pizzas, but the service was very poor, very little attention was paid to the people and therefore we did not order a drink or/and dessert. At the beginning you get bread with olive oil, we thought it was on the house, but because we were with 5 adults, we were charged €12.50! Very unfortunate.

Great food, and dogs are "tolerated." Unfortunately, the service was completely uninspired. Despite the restaurant being empty, we waited 20 minutes to order a coffee.

Very good restaurant with excellent waiters and the food is perfect and tasty. Nice seating options. On weekends you should call and reserve in advance. I can highly recommend👍🏻
