In the center of Ortigia, a restaurant where raw fish is a must. From the outside, it might look like a typical tourist restaurant, but after I ordered the tagliolini with shrimp tartare, red onion, and a sprinkling of breadcrumbs, I have to say I changed my mind. Absolutely delicious, the staff are lovely. I was able to eat everything I wanted gluten-free. I went back the next day to get takeaway for the plane!

Very kid friendly - they made our daughter a spaghetti pomodoro. I had the Syracusan pasta - the anchovy flavor was just perfect and blended well with the tomatoes and other acids.

Top-notch communication. Not great prices; a glass of wine is €1 more than on the menu... Not great prices; a dish that costs €28 for two becomes €20 for one person. Unfortunately, a tourist restaurant... Not to mention the eternal YouTube "coperto" (the same thing), even though I never eat the bread... Italy...

We shared a perfect intimate dinner. The atmosphere and service made everything very pleasant. The food was delicious, fresh fish at a truly competitive price. Highly recommended.

29/10/2025: We ate here on our first day in Ortigia after a 24 hr travel day and it was steps from our rental apartment. We ate out in the courtyard and we had some delicious bruschette, ravioli and red wine. Definitely recommend!
