I'd been told the pizza was very good, but unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. The tomato sauce was too acidic, the fried eggplant tasteless, and salt was only thrown on a small piece of eggplant—almost all peel and a few pieces, about 8 on the whole pizza.
The one with sausage and eggplant, without mozzarella, was covered in tomato sauce.
It's a shame because the dough wouldn't be bad.

I was impressed with vegetarian pizza with roasted eggplant zucchini and peppers. I had a glass of the house red. I am no expert but it tasted like Chianti. My waitress spoke flawless Z English , which is good as I speak nearly no Italian. The menu is bilingual. The pizza was thin crust but soft, almost like pita bread. I also had a bottle of still water. Bill came to 23 euros, which was very reasonable for the quality. I’d guess the patrons were half locals, half tourists, like me. I observed a table of men nearby, Some used knife and fork. Others ate by hand. A family with a infant came in and the restaurant was very accommodating to them, which impressed me.

Extraordinary pizza, even the baked fish. I've known the place for over 40 years and have never eaten as well as I did today. I'm very fond of the guys who work there, they're excellent, and they're in a difficult situation following the criminal case of the former owner. I hope the situation improves while guaranteeing their jobs; they deserve it, and let's help them by frequenting the place, especially because—and I insist—it's difficult, among other things, to eat such a good pizza in Bologna. The average price is for pizza and fish. And let's remember, Bella Napoli is a historic pizzeria in Bologna and it doesn't take a scoundrel to erase it.

Nos encantó este La Bella Napoli y visitamos dos veces en 4 días, mientras que en Bolonia! El servicio era genial, los precios eran asequibles y, el menú era excelente. Probamos la lasaña boloñesa, pizza, y caccio e pepe, todos estaban deliciosos y frescos. Sin duda volveríamos!

With its rooms created in the rooms of an old renovated delicatessen, it is a warm and welcoming place. The pizza is excellent and the service is quick and attentive.
