On the recommendation of the receptionist at the hotel where we were staying, we went to this restaurant. It offers typical Emilian cuisine. The dishes we chose were delicious and excellent value. The fried pizza and cured meats were excellent. The Parma ham from the cured meats platter was SUPERLATIVE. Pappardelle with culatello, mushrooms, and asparagus were EXCEPTIONAL. The desserts were delicious. The restaurant was welcoming and the staff were friendly. Ample parking.

I wasn't familiar with the place, but I had to choose between myself and my friends who were coming from Modena. I randomly chose "Il Casale." Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed. I parked, walked in, and thought, "Nice place." I immediately noticed the kindness of the waiters and the pizza chefs behind the counter of the oven, which was in plain sight. We sat down at a table, accompanied by a very kind and smiling waitress. I don't want to go on, the pizza was good, but I appreciated the restaurant much more. The dishes were well-made and beautifully presented, very tasty and homemade. Finally, the desserts were exceptional; it was definitely worth the trip.

My sisters and I shared an appetizer of cured meats and torta fritta. The cured meat was good, the torta fritta was beyond reproach. Then the sliced ​​meat was very good, and the boiled meats were average with sauces. At that point in the meal, we were abandoned. We called a woman who had the plates taken away, but the sauces remained on the table. We didn't see anyone again. We paid and said goodbye.
