Ristorante Pizzeria Desenzanino In Desenzano del garda

The place is run by a social cooperative that employs people with disabilities...but in my opinion...much more skilled, friendly, and welcoming than many able-bodied people! It's a shame that the city management will most likely take away their contract, having put out a public tender open to private individuals (...and the usual entrepreneur with the money will show up). Anyway, hats off to these guys! Very good pizza, desserts too! What can I say...100% recommended.

We stopped by in the afternoon after the beach for a quick bite. We ordered a Margherita pizza and a sautéed mussels with tomato sauce. The mussels were good: a well-balanced and flavorful dish, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the pizza arrived completely undercooked. We kindly pointed this out to the staff and the pizza chef, but instead of making a new Margherita, they simply put the same pizza back in the oven. The result was a "ricotta" pizza, reheated and even a little tough in some places. We believe that when a dish is returned because it wasn't cooked properly, it would be more appropriate to remake it from scratch, especially out of respect for the customer.

We got here by accident as we got caught in the rain and were looking for shelter. To be honest this was an amazing coincidence and a great choice! This was our first dinner in Desenzano Del Garda when we arrived and we were delighted with it! The restaurant was very busy as we waited in the que for few minutes trying to get in. However, when we ordered our food, we felt it was served very quickly! The wine recommendation we got from the waiter was amazing, it was nice to drink on it's own as well as the food we ordered. The food was also the waiters recommendation, and we were not disappointed. We had risotto with trout and tagliatelle with mushrooms - both dishes were amazing! What was also beautiful and made for a great/romantic atmosphere was lake just outside the window! We certainly recommend!

I took my family to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. I have nothing to say about the dishes. Fantastic, tasty, spectacular. The pizza was delicious, as were the mussels and mixed fried fish. If I hadn't been so full, I would have ordered seconds of everything. The best fresh seafood pizza I've ever eaten. My compliments to the chefs, really. The problem? The service. Slow. Way too slow. 40 minutes to be served. I'd ordered mussels first, then the pizza. Once I'd finished the mussels and set aside my plate, I waited half an hour before calling the waitress and telling her to bring me the pizza. The waitress passed by my table several times and looked at me, but nothing. The order for the second course never left. Add another 20 minutes to get the pizza at the table. Once we'd all finished, I asked for the dessert menu. We wanted to order it, but in half an hour no one had come to ask us anything. We hadn't ordered a birthday cake on purpose because we were thinking of getting a sweet treat at the restaurant, but nada. I was so annoyed that I made everyone stand up, paid, and we left. I'm not exaggerating about the timing. I had my phone in hand, and at the table we started making bets on how long it would take them to serve us. I was there in May on a weekday, not a weekend. It wasn't crowded enough to justify the wait.

Throughout my vacation, I had lunch and dinner at this restaurant, which a friend had recommended to me. The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the staff and manager were very friendly. I absolutely recommend it.

The food is good, the pizza is good, the staff is friendly, and the place has a view of the lake.

Bel ristorante situato vista lago, ottima pizza e personale gentilissimo, lo consiglio per chi vuole stare in po' fuori dal centro e godere di una bella vista sul lago.

Un gran lugar - dirigido como una organización benéfica - la comida estaba recién hecha y muy sabrosa, el servicio era atento y profesional, y era realmente barato. Además, es una ubicación estupenda en la costa, lo que significa que puede ver las luces de las ciudades de la Garda centellear al caer la oscuridad. Muy recomendable.
