I was there a few days ago. The menu is extensive and varied with reasonable prices. We had the Margherita pizza, and I have to say, it was really good.

Three generations of goodness and authenticity!
At Umberto's, you can breathe in the history of Ischia. It's rare to find a place that has maintained such high standards for three generations, overcoming every challenge with the power of goodness. The cuisine is a journey through the flavors of the sea and land, using excellent ingredients.
The pizza is unmissable, carefully prepared in front of the wood-burning fireplace, just like in times past. Beyond the delicious food and fair prices, what stands out is the warmth of the expert staff. Getting there is easy thanks to the large nearby parking lot. If you're looking for a place that captures the soul of the island, you must try it at least once. Lastly, as I'm a fan of traditional places, it's no coincidence that it's among the top 10% of establishments on TripAdvisor. Highly recommended!

A truly positive experience. The Ischian-style rabbit was amazing, not to mention the bucatini served as an appetizer, and the staff were incredibly kind. 🔝

I went to dinner with my girlfriend and her family at "Da Umberto." It all happened by chance. We ordered two Cokes, two waters, and half a bottle of Ischia white wine. For appetizers, we had fried shrimp and calamari and vegetarian bruschetta.
Both served just enough for five people. The fried sea bream was crispy, and you could tell it was fresh. We then ordered spaghetti with clams, deliciously spicy just right, with parsley and a generous amount of clams. A very light and fluffy pizza. Last but not least, three bucatini pasta with mussels and pecorino cheese, which I've always been reluctant to try. For the first time, I wanted to try this typical Neapolitan recipe. I made the decision after reading the reviews, and to this day, I don't think I'll ever try this dish anywhere else because I'll never find anything this good!
Huge and delicious mussels with an intense flavor, perfectly cooked bucatini, and just the right amount of pecorino cheese that made everything perfectly balanced.
The staff was superb, both in the dining room and the kitchen, as everything arrived on time.
They also gave us tips on how to visit the beautiful places on Ischia.
I'd add that I'm from the South and now live in the North, but when I find myself in places like this, I know how much potential there is in our region.
Thanks for everything, I'd go back any day for my first cozze e pepe.
