The menu and the quality of the food are 5 stars, excellent products and perfect preparation
5 star service, professional staff, very attentive to table service, kind and courteous
The environment, given the definition of an tavern, deserves four 1/2 stars, five for the plas that the chef gives you, with a visit to the table for indications on the courses.
The welcome is almost familiar, we are seated at the table, we are greeted first by very kind waitresses; once we had received the menus, collected the drink orders, the chef joined us and presented us with some dishes not on the menu, speaking to us with courtesy and attention on how they are prepared, but at the same time, paying attention as if we were invited to dinner in his house .... Well done.
We took advantage of the instructions received and "dived" (there were 4 of us at the table) into two appetizers, an amazing porchetta and a platter of mixed cold cuts with a few pieces of cheese, really very good, served on wooden cutting boards, so to speak. , made like those of the past, where they poured the polenta.
I take advantage of the chef's kindness and treat myself to a dish that takes me back in time and flavours, to the country tables of the upper Treviso area...... Pasta and beans with radicchio here the rating is with praise and I I also allow you to post a photo, brought for two people.
Let's take a grilled mixed meat of superior quality and cooking, beans with onion and fried potatoes cut with a mandolin and passed in cold water to remove the starch.
We dine with a house wine, a slightly sparkling rabosello that cleanses the palate without taking away the flavor of the dishes.
We couldn't help but treat ourselves to dessert too; a creamy, non-sickening tiramisu, a very good strudel and two slices of colomba with Bronte pistachio cream, large portions.
One liter of sparkling water; two coffees brought to the table with 4 chocolates filled with hazelnut cream, flavored with Amarone grappa, one last cuddle.....
The courses are generous, the quality of the products, the preparation and the chef give full marks.
The paid bill of 36 euros each reflects the honesty and courtesy you will find at Osteria Pavan.
Whether you are passing through while traveling along the provincial road between Capo Sile and Jesolo or whether you intend to stop for lunch or dinner, I recommend you try this culinary experience, you will surely return.
More than a year and a half have passed since my first visit to Pavan's tavern and what was offered, if there was any need, has improved even more. Excellent cuisine and service worthy of the venue always deserve praise.
