When we want pizza, we go to Ca' Rossa; Botrugno's "mixed tasting" pizza is the best you can eat in Ravenna and the surrounding area in my opinion. I recommend everyone to try it if you are not a fan of deep pizza.

We had dinner on April 25th with a group of 15 friends: The place is a little off-centre from the main attractions of Ravenna and not very convenient to reach on foot (after a day of visiting...), the atmosphere is a little retro and informal, with nice old photos hanging on the walls of famous customers from the past... The food is suitable for families or groups of friends. The stuffed green tortelli are good.

The restaurant was recommended by most diners, but the daily menu was of very poor quality, while the pizza was very generous and well-presented. The atmosphere, which is located half underground, exudes, at most, a sixties charm. The service is decent. The restaurant obviously benefits from being near the "Mausoleum of Theodoric."

29/05/2025: Beautiful place with outdoor terrace and view of the dock. Space and tables also inside with a very particular atmosphere. Excellent for aperitifs or light dinners
