I rarely leave poor reviews but I was disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. I had the calamari and it was overcooked and rubbery. The seafood that the others had was not as fresh as one would expect from a restaurant that specializes in seafood. We were a party of 4 and we had all eaten our meals and the table had been cleared - we were ready for the bill. A waiter then showed up with my husband's main course and when we told them we were ready to leave they refused to take the food back. The servers did not check on us during the meal. Overall a poor dining experience for a fine dining restaurant.

Beautiful, spacious, and very popular restaurant. Reservations are recommended. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is excellent. The strangulausu with goat ragù are truly delicious!

Inexpensive and very good food. We ate there several times during our stay in Baunei. You'll also find many locals there. Reservations are recommended during peak season.

Here they call this pizza Genovese (Carlo Fortina) amazing. I highly recommend this place. The service is impeccable, the quality is excellent, and the price is unmatched in the area.

Very good food. Great view and friendly service. The pizza is only available in the evenings, but the menu offers plenty of other options. We're always happy to come back. Update 2025: It's still excellent. The service is so friendly and attentive. Today we had the mixed seafood platter for starters. It was delicious. The culurgiones with plenty of cheese and the spaghetti alle vongole e bottarga were excellent. Even though the restaurant is a bit out of the way, it's definitely worth it.

My boyfriend and I ate there for dinner. I went straight to the point because I've been there before and have never been disappointed! The pizza I had (seafood) was incredible, flavorful, and incredibly easy to digest! He loved the goat tripe, but was disappointed with the fried fish. The seadas at the end really lifted our spirits!

11/09/2025: We discovered the restaurant "Trattoria Da Angelo" through Google reviews. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the proprietor, who speaks excellent German. The menu, which is available online via QR code in German, among other languages, offered a wide variety of dishes. The proprietor recommended the typical Sardinian culurgiones, which we shared as a starter. Delicious!!! The main courses, consisting of pizza and eggplant casserole, were also delicious. The value for money was/is very good. The restaurant was clean, stylishly decorated, and created a pleasant atmosphere, which was enhanced by the friendliness of the proprietor and staff. We have rarely experienced such hospitality. When we say "arrived as strangers, left as friends," it is absolutely true. We wish the proprietor, his family, and the staff all the best for the future!☺️☺️ Sabine & Stephan

23/10/2025: We had a truly fantastic Sardinian evening. Delicious food, great service, and a lovely location.
20/10/2025: We had an excellent experience here; none of the criticisms mentioned in the reviews were accurate. Lovely ambiance, plenty of space, very friendly staff, all the food was of very high quality and delicious, the ice cream (especially the olive oil variety) was excellent, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely right. Absolutely well-deserved 5 stars!
