I went for dinner with a group and had a really great time. We chose the set menu: generous portions, delicious, and well-prepared dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the recently renovated restaurant is modern and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The change in management is evident and noticeable: a rich menu featuring top-quality ingredients, an elegant and refined atmosphere, perfect for dinners for two or with friends. The wine list features innovative proposals and expertly crafted wines by the glass. I recommend the Sauternes by the glass, a rare find in Bergamo city restaurants. The price is in line with the local market.

I tried the Filet with pepper sauce. I have had great meals all across the Americas and Europe, and this steak was one of the top 3 I ever had! The ambiance was perfect, the staff terribly enjoyable! It couldn't be improved!

The restaurant recently changed management, also renovating the space, which was clearly showing its age. I recommend booking because the place is always busy. AMBIENCE: The interior is modern, with elegant tables and chairs. The dark green color scheme is a nice choice. I'm not sure why the bathroom hasn't been renovated; it's left dated and plain. SERVICE: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. If I understand correctly, management of the restaurant has been transferred to "Schiaccianoci," another restaurant on Via XX Settembre. Therefore, the staff is very knowledgeable about wines, so I expected a more extensive and well-stocked list, and the products to be of the highest quality. FOOD: The pizzas I saw were very inviting, and my friend, who ate pizza under the new management, thought it was very good. That evening, I tried Cantabrian anchovies with salted butter, which were very good, spaghetti with clams, and rice with butter and shrimp. I didn't particularly enjoy the rice, despite the quality of the product. Both I and my partner found it a bit disjointed and flavorless, except when eaten with the shrimp. Some might say the shrimp was supposed to add flavor to the dish, but without the rice, it tasted like boiled rice, with no hint of butter. My friend only had dessert. It was a cream and pistachio tart. VALUE FOR MONEY: Good and in line with current prices at restaurants in this category.

Management recently changed, and the place has completely changed. Only the name remains, as it's a historic name. The place is welcoming and furnished in a modern style, and the service is quick and discreet. The menu offers a wide selection, with seafood (mostly), a selection of meats, and a varied pizza selection. I had a trio of raw seafood (tuna, salmon, and amberjack), the product was high-quality, and even without much seasoning or processing, it was pleasant to taste. I continued with tagliolini (fresh homemade pasta) with lobster, and here the dish was truly balanced and pleasant (tasty). I drank a white Burgundy wine by the glass, which the manager/owner (I believe) recommended to me and paired well with the dishes. Overall, an excellent choice, a place I might return to and explore the culinary offerings further.

We were a large group. The staff wasn't willing to arrange tables. That was a downside. Otherwise, it's a perfect place for pizza. A wide selection, tasty, and relatively inexpensive. The decor is elegant. The grilled fruit is excellent. We've been here twice for dinner.
