Finalmente il Ristorante è tornato alla precedente Gestione e sin da subito si è notata la differenza: -prodotti di qualità -piatti ottimi -servizio cortese -pizza buona (anche se in precedenza veniva usato il forno a legna e la pizza era ancora più buona... Valutare se possibile tornare al precedente forno al legna) Un consiglio... rivedere un po' i prezzi perché, nostro parere, sono un po' altini

Immersed in nature, a truly heavenly location. The welcome was so warm that it made us feel at home and the cuisine was truly excellent, with quality products. We loved it!! We recommend it to everyone ❤️

Spectacular Sunday lunch trip out of town. Well done and congratulations to chef Cristian and family. We ate everything based on raw and cooked fish, sensational Stellar cuisine with modest prices, Perfect. We will return to try the meat. Well done and keep going 👍 Update, the restaurant has changed management since July 2024 and so I can't tell you how the food is now. It's a shame that the old Familiare Civale management has closed. 😪

Pizzeria il Fondaccio

01/06/2025: By bike from Volterra to Montevarchi we stop in Castellina and looking for a restaurant and here we are at Fondaccio. We have the bikes and Mauro, the owner, has them stored inside with the possibility of recharging. For lunch, since we are from Trentino, we eat pici all'aglione and with cacio e pepe. A good beer and coffee with cantucci. A treat, since we were halfway. Thanks Mauro and thanks to all your kind and professional staff.
28/05/2025: I had a very good pizza Chinatigiana – great crust and excellent toppings. Attentive service, but not intrusive. A nice place that's not just for tourists.
