Traditional cuisine that is always a sure thing!

I practically grew up with their excellent dishes! The staff is friendly and professional. Here you'll find traditional Lucca and Tuscan dishes. The Zuppa alla Frantoiana is excellent, the farro soup is fantastic, and the pasta with wild boar ragù is special. But the best are the tordelli Lucchesi. Here you'll find the real ones, the ones that stay a little firm and don't sag, accompanied by an excellent ragù. In short, for me, they're the best around! The main courses are also excellent: the cacciucco, the peposo, and the wild boar stew with olives (one of the best in all of Lucca, and perhaps Tuscany, I'm not kidding). The pizza is also excellent; I recommend the buffalo mozzarella and sausage!

A good lunch with a set menu or seafood options. Fast service. Reservations are recommended. Larger portions are available unless you're looking for something else on the set menu, which still costs €12. Thin-crust pizzas are also available at lunchtime.

I dined at this restaurant on a Saturday night, and I must say I was very pleased. The atmosphere is homey and the food is truly delicious. It doesn't look impressive from the outside, but once you step inside, you feel right at home.

A really great restaurant. We ate there twice. All the dishes were freshly prepared and delicious. Lots of local regulars. Delicious and affordable pizza straight from the wood-fired pizza oven.
