The walls hold a painting by Fabrizio De André, which is not just a painting, but almost a living presence: he seems to sing silently to the diners, accompanying the sensory journey with his rebellious and melancholic verses. Above the tables, the multi-light chandelier, a small theatrical sun, gives a magical, intimate, almost ritualistic atmosphere, as if each table were a private stage. The owner is an elegant and courteous figure, with discreet professionalism who guides you without intruding: she seems like the director of this gastronomic spectacle, capable of orchestrating lighting, timing, and smiles with natural grace. You don't sit at a table to watch a show, but enter the scene to become the protagonist, tasting typical Ascoli dishes cooked with mastery. Kindness and attention to detail are paramount; when the bread runs out, there's no need to ask. I had a full menu: two appetizers, a braised beef that melted in your mouth, and dessert, a glass of wine and a licorice liqueur. €53, fair prices and high quality. 6 stars. We stumbled upon this place by chance and without a reservation, but luckily there was room. We were greeted with a smile, which isn't always a given. The restaurant is small but welcoming, with the vaulted brick ceiling typical of these areas. The menu offers a good selection, and the wine list is also excellent. The flan and roast beef appetizers were delicious, and the first courses and desserts were fantastic. The owner and the hostess were very kind and always smiling. We hope to return.

Probably one of the best restaurants for typical local food. The place is very small but quaint, and the acoustics aren't the best when the restaurant is full. The menu offers two tasting menus (€37 and €40), which are very affordable and offer a comprehensive experience of typical local products. The mandarin sorbet is very good to finish. Highly recommended!

Culinary disappointment, the menu promised well... the mushroom pasta tasted like nothing... the quail was not very tasty, the potatoes were dry and the fried food was very hard... The service was quick and friendly but we won't be back.

Excellent welcome and attentive service. The chef's dishes are always excellent and varied (with fresh, seasonal ingredients). Reasonable prices. One of the best, if not the best, restaurant in Ascoli Piceno. Returned again after a while. Everything was delicious, and the usual wonderful welcome and service.
