In my opinion, it's a mix of traditional and haute cuisine. A place where you can enjoy dishes you won't find in typical restaurants.

A great experience! The cuisine is truly excellent, with dishes prepared using quality local ingredients that showcase the flavors of the region. We ate outside, enjoying a quiet and relaxing atmosphere just steps from the historic center. The service was courteous and attentive. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to savor authentic local cuisine.

We went to the small theater with a friend for the evening with the violinist, so we took the opportunity to eat well and experience a beautiful event, and we weren't wrong! Every course was fantastic! The poached egg was amazing, the tagliata was soft and flavorful, and the dessert was amazing, all accompanied by good wine and a brilliant violinist! The raw ingredients were of the highest quality, a delight for the palate... and the ears 😍 A round of applause also for the service (impeccable), and therefore to the owner and the waitress, always kind, present, and very friendly despite all the people to serve! Especially thanks to Maria Chiara for the preparation and for giving us excellent advice, a top waitress!! It was a real experience, we ate and drank well with the music that accompanied us, we will definitely be back. Congratulations to everyone!!

Super cozy place, tastefully decorated with personality. Its shape makes it feel like you're in a small theater. Intimate atmosphere, very pleasant background music. Delicious dishes made with quality ingredients. Friendly and friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Excellent restaurant in the center of Ascoli. The sweet Amatrice was delicious, and the quality of the cured meats and cheeses was excellent. The person who served us was something extra. Excellent. I'll be back.

The outdoor seating is on the street. It's a nice place, and the food is good. €120 for two appetizers, two first courses, two 350ml bottles of wine (the second course is opened at the table), one liter of water, and one coffee.

A truly wonderful experience, for sure. It's an intimate, family-run establishment in a 19th-century style—as the name suggests—focused on the quality of the food and excellent service rather than the number of customers; so reservations 📞 are highly recommended. The local specialties were perfect: from the spaghetti alla Dolce Amatrice 🍝 to the dessert, the Cupola d'Ascoli 🧁, filled with the iconic Anisetta 🍾. The meat dishes are also excellent, with refined options like the lamb stew 🥩 and pork cheek 🥓 seasoned with balsamic onions 🧅, accompanied by standard vegetable side dishes... 🥔🍆🍅 The only negative: the spaghetti was too al dente! I recommend not cooking them as long as strictly necessary ⏲️, since the pasta is already tending towards the tough side... The sauce, I repeat, is "the best", but it took a set of teeth 🦷🦷 still as firm as ours to chew them. The waiting times were completely tolerable despite the crowd, so a few extra minutes won't spoil the pleasure of enjoying perfectly cooked pasta... 😊

A pleasant discovery in the heart of Ascoli Piceno's historic center. The first word that comes to mind is "care!" Careful preparation and presentation of the dishes, and careful selection of ingredients. Authentic flavors rooted in local tradition. Served by the very kind Maria Chiara, who makes you feel pampered and at home. Highly recommended!
