Yes, it's out of the way, but if you want to have an extraordinary culinary experience, it's worth the trip. There is no menu, which makes the multi-course lunch a delightful surprise from the seafood to the eggplant parmesan to the orecchiette to the braciola. The best part of the afternoon was meeting with the personable chef, Peppe Zullo, who was gracious enough to show us his impressive wine cellar. We spent the night in one of his comfortable modest bed and breakfast suites beyond the wine cellar. It was quite a memorable time.

I finally managed to have lunch at this restaurant with my family. The tasting menu offers a fixed price, perfectly in line with the quality and number of courses. The chef, the host, personally comes to the table to chat with guests, which we greatly appreciated. It allowed us to share ideas and created a convivial and joyful atmosphere. I applaud the use of borage, both fried and parmigiana-style, which is truly exquisite.
