Enchanting place reached in winter with a short walk in the snow. Interior of the restaurant with attention to every detail. Courteous staff and excellent food!

Stone, wood and a fireplace in the center make the atmosphere warm and comfortable. The Blue d'Aosta dumplings are excellent and deserve an extra mention. Overall good cuisine. Wide choice of craft beers that I like, but... there was no wine list, and here the choice is limited to those on display, without the price being indicated. The Pinot Noir chosen is from an excellent Introd winery, but frankly the price, of the wine in particular, seemed a little high. But frankly, having a beer meal with local cuisine is not exactly appropriate 😏

Excellent rustic chalet with good food and ample availability of staff. Despite having mainly traditional food, as vegans we still ate excellent polenta with tomato and baked potatoes.

Le foto non rendono giustizia a questo paradiso alpino! Lo chalet è molto bello e caldo, accogliente. Lo staff è giovane e super disponibile. La cucina e il bar sono ben forniti di prodotti tipici e locali. Se pretendete di mangiare l'aragosta, avete sbagliato posto. In altre recensioni ho visto commenti sui prezzi alti, ma considerando che siamo in val d'Aosta (di per sé cara), in un comune turistico e considerando le difficoltà di approvvigionamento (in inverno non c è la strada!) e la qualità, considero i prezzi equi. Insomma, siamo stati benissimo e sicuramente ci torneremo!

Posto incantevole immerso nella natura, ma assolutamente troppo caro per il servizio e la qualità del cibo che offrono. Fermatevi al massimo per bere qualcosa di caldo, consiglio vivamente pranzo al sacco!

We arrived in rhemes to start our weekend on December 26th, we were welcomed by Luca the owner of the Pellaud chalet upon our arrival who took us on the snowmobile to reach the chalet more comfortably. The journey was very fun in a few minutes we were up. There are not many words to describe the beauty of the lake that is in front of the chalet especially in the winter, it seemed like being in a fairy tale. We went in to warm up and above all to try the local cuisine. We were welcomed by Luis who served us despite the place being full always with a smile and with great kindness. The dishes arrive... We ordered sausages with sauce and smooth polenta, venison with baked potatoes, my daughter ordered handmade tagliolini with ragù. All really delicious. To finish the desserts, all really good. We had the Tres lache, the Mont Blanc and the chocolate cake with cream. The owners Luca and Giuseppe were very sweet and pampered us with their friendliness, entertaining all the guests. We had such a good time that we returned for another three days from January 1st to 3rd. We opted to have all our meals here. The breakfast was excellent, made with jam, butter, homemade bread and very good cakes. We then had lunch and dinner tasting the local dishes. We really had a great time. A very intimate place, which makes you feel at home. Compliments to the chefs for the excellent dishes served, to Luis for the service and to the owners Luca and Giuseppe for giving us a bit of their time. We will definitely return to see the lake in the summer and to try the rooms with the spa on the upper floor.

A nice walk in the snow from Rhemes Notre Dame accompanied by our dogs to Lake Pellaud and we stop to eat at the chalet. Given the beautiful day, we ate outside. Excellent typical dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. Warm and welcoming interior. Pets allowed.

This very warm and welcoming place can only be reached on foot. In the middle of winter you have to leave the car at Rhemes Notre Dame and walk for about 1.5 km in the snow. We ate a delicious stewed sausage with baked potatoes and polenta with Aoste bleu cheese. The black bread is homemade and has a very particular and delicate taste. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get away from the hectic city life.
