Ristorante Pellaud Lo Refuge Dey Pellaud In Rhemes-notre-dame

Excellent rustic chalet with good food and ample availability of staff. Despite having mainly traditional food, as vegans we still ate excellent polenta with tomato and baked potatoes.

We arrived in Rhemes to start our weekend on December 26th, we were greeted by Luca the owner of the Pellaud chalet upon our arrival who took us on the snowmobile to reach the chalet more comfortably. The trip was so much fun within minutes we were on. There aren't many words to describe the beauty of the lake in front of the chalet, especially in winter, it felt like being in a fairy tale. We come in to warm up and above all to try the local cuisine. We were welcomed by Luis who served us even though the place was full, always with a smile and great kindness. The dishes arrive... We ordered sausages with sauce and smooth polenta, venison with baked potatoes, my daughter ordered handmade tagliolini with ragù. All really delicious. To conclude the desserts, all really good. We took the Tres lache, the Mont Blanc and the chocolate cake with cream. The owners Luca and Giuseppe were very sweet and pampered us with their kindness, chatting with all the guests. We had such a good time that we returned for another three days from January 1st to 3rd. We opted to have all our meals here. The excellent breakfast made with jam, butter, homemade bread and very good cakes. We then had lunch and dinner tasting the local dishes. We really had a great time. A very intimate place, which makes you feel at home. Compliments to the chefs for the excellent dishes served, to Luis for the service and to the owners Luca and Giuseppe for giving us some of their time. We will definitely be back to see the pond in the summer and to try the upstairs spa rooms.

A nice walk in the snow from Rhemes Notre Dame accompanied by our dogs to Lake Pellaud and we stop to eat at the chalet. Given the beautiful day, we ate outside. Excellent typical dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. Warm and welcoming interior. Pets allowed.

This very warm and welcoming place can only be reached on foot. In the middle of winter you have to leave the car at Rhemes Notre Dame and walk for about 1.5 km in the snow. We ate a delicious stewed sausage with baked potatoes and polenta with Aoste bleu cheese. The black bread is homemade and has a very particular and delicate taste. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get away from the hectic city life.

Lovely place in a beautiful location, good food

A truly special place! We ate a platter of abundant and excellent quality Valle d'Aosta cold cuts and cheeses, a very tasty polenta concia and the abundant and really good carbonade. A choice of excellent wines. The environment is also very suggestive and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Un contesto magnifico dove ti aspetti che compaiano fate e gnomi. Locale adorabile, cibo buonissimo e genuino a prezzi assolutamente modici. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile, sorridente e pieno di attenzioni addirittura nel “senza glutine”. Molti ristoranti italiani dovrebbero imparare come si accolgono e trattano i clienti. Fantastico. Da rifare appena possibile.

La splendida location si sposa bene con il cibo, affettati e primi di qualità, prodotti eccezionali ,ma non avere fretta , i gestori fanno i salti mortali!. Unico appunto, è consiglio per i gestori...sostituite gli ombrelloni esterni con qualche copertura NOLogo .

The lake is too beautiful and the whole view is too beautiful. The Aosta Valley cuisine is excellent
