I've been coming to Pecchiarda for 40 years and immediately noticed the change of pace. The menu features gourmet dishes. The already lovely place is well-maintained, and the renovations that were underway are about to expand with a new veranda. The wait staff is extremely friendly, and the prices are reasonable. However, in the end, what we ate didn't live up to expectations. The dishes definitely need improvement (stringozzi with too much oil, too much garlic, and sour tomato, game mousse with too much vinegar, pine nut ice cream, and grainy salted caramel). The house wine is good. Good luck.

Highly recommended! We came in 10 minutes before they opened and we were still greeted very warmly. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine too. Very high quality products.

We booked lunch the day before, looking at their lovely menu online, since we wanted to visit Spoleto.
It's a beautiful restaurant with two spacious rooms; the very kind waiter told us we could also dine outside in the internal garden if we wanted.
For appetizers, we chose cheeses to sample with jams; the first courses,
Stringozzi all'Annibale and Ravioli del Pek, were excellent. For dessert, we chose the caramel and pine nut gelato, garnished with berries, which was delicious. Then, the waiter recommended a very good local bitter, called Nazzareno.
The restaurant is right near the Piazza Campello escalator stop.

Local dishes, we ate very well, three different first courses but all very good, one with truffle, one with braised beef and stewed onions, a tricolor spaghetti with buffalo mozzarella pesto and tomato cream. Excellent baked potatoes and delicious grilled radicchio! Compliments! Kind and courteous staff. Recommended!

Bel locale, cibo ottimo bella atmosfera, personale simpatico e attento alle esigenze del cliente. Non do' 5 stelle xché siamo rimasti delusi dal fatto che invogliati caldamente dalla cameriera ad assaggiare il loro amaro poi lo abbiamo ritrovato nel conto da pagare...
