Very cozy place, great food and wine and great service. Open all hours even for late lunch when other restaurants are closed. The best experience in Verona!!

Prima di prendere il treno, ci fermiamo per il pranzo a Verona, e passeggiando per il centro storico entriamo in questo ristorante, ( menu esposto all'esterno) ordiniamo uno spaghetto con pomodoro, pesto di rucola e scaglie di parmigiano, e maccheroncini di pasta fresca all'uovo con ragù di carne, melanzane e mozzarella, da bere un calice di amarone. Tutto molto buono.

Before taking the train, we stop for lunch in Verona, and walking through the historic center we enter this restaurant, (menu displayed outside) we order spaghetti with tomato, rocket pesto and parmesan flakes, and pasta maccheroncini fresh egg dish with meat sauce, aubergines and mozzarella, to drink a glass of amarone. All very good.

We were greeted by friendly staff even if not very well trained. We chose a glass of wine to dine on, a little "stingy", not even 1/3 of the glass filled and drops of wine on the tablecloth and on my napkin. The starter with sardines in saor was very good, the sliced with potatoes good but we chose the famous risotto all'amarone, I didn't know it and I chose the wrong place to taste it: very heavy and with an overbearing acid note perhaps due to the quality of the used wine. Terrible, two forks and I left it. The chocolate cake is too dry, the center is normally very creamy. Lower prices than the average for restaurants in the city center but justified by a somewhat poor quality of cuisine.

Non posso dare 5 in quanto alcune situazioni sono da migliorare.
Servizio e cibo molto buono, locale preso d’assalto, bravi a gestire lo stress
Locale caciarone, tante persone, tante parole quindi caos
Faticavo a parlare con la famiglia al tavolo.

Overall we didn't have a bad lunch...the dishes were more than sufficient...I understand that it was November 1st and there were really a lot of people...but if you make me sit at the table, you won't come to take the order after 40 minutes. minutes

The waitress Bruna was very kind and welcoming and looked after our table and made the very long waits between the various courses pleasant.
Average dishes, pleasant location but prices too high and desserts not recommended.
