Ristorante Osteria La Scarpetta In Reggio nell'emilia

Booked Sunday lunch with friends, 8 people including 2 children under 10 years old. The place isn't full, there's us, another table of a dozen kids and a table with two people. The owner serves us in a not exactly welcoming way. The menu is rich, but the pantry, we will notice, is not as rich!! Instead of informing us first of unavailable dishes, the waiter waits for our choices to communicate what is missing. In the end they are missing: lasagne, roast rabbit, roast veal, trifle. Meh! 3 platters with fried gnocco, cured meats (low quality) and a piece of Erbazzone, 8 first courses (fair), 7 second courses (without infamy and without praise), 2 bottles of Sangiovese, water, 5 desserts and 6 coffees. €42 each. Definitely exaggerated for the quality of the service and the lack of dishes on the verified menu.

Excellent lunch break in a traditional restaurant. Superb starter of cured meats and fried gnocco. The two first courses were excellent: pumpkin tortello and cappelletto in broth. Honest account and fast service. Well done

From the sign you cannot perceive the rare quality that this place can express through a traditional but refined and pleasant environment. The dishes are very good in flavor and quality. Quality, confidential and professional service!

I had dinner with my husband recommended by friends, we really enjoyed the food, I think it's the best typical cuisine in the area. Extraordinary tortelli of many types including super carbonara. Unique dumplings and cured meats, not to mention the meat, I would say is truly exquisite. I recommend it to everyone also for the price given the truly honest quality they offer. We will be back very soon.

The best restaurant in Reggio Emilia!!! If you really want to eat and drink well and in an EXTRA CLEAN place!!! The environment is exactly the best description of Reggio Emilia!! A typical cuisine that deserves the best star ever!!! Let the owners advise you and they won't disappoint you!! They have high quality products!!! And you eat really well! Because the cuisine is taken care of down to the smallest detail! For my taste, it's REALLY the best in Reggio Emilia!!! Very professional service!! Fantastic desserts too!! And the high quality drinking!! They spend the right amount and they are really honest!!! It feels like being in the mountains... and disconnecting!! I recommend it and will ALWAYS recommend it to everyone!!!

As predicted 🔝 various types of tortelli platter with cured meats and fried gnocco a cut (finally I managed to eat cooked meat as requested "in many places they don't listen to you because of the degree of cooking" manager and boy in the room very courteous and attentive to the requests my wife had already been because she already knew the cuisine 🤔 and what can I say see you soon to try other dishes 😉 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED place 👍🏻
