Old-fashioned tavern, all in wood with the tables a little too close together, but here you can breathe the true Livorno tradition.
The caciucco is a must try and the portions are truly generous.
I really enjoyed the seafood salad as a starter...simple but with a real seafood flavour.
Very kind and attentive staff.

A slightly too family-run restaurant, the atmosphere is very nice, but the friendly staff pay much more attention to the customer. Cacciucco good but heavy, I was ill-advised and had a grilled scampi and prawns which left me hungrier than before.
I recommend reviewing the service, the cost is too high.

Excellent restaurant. They have the "cacciucco", a typical Livorno dish. It is recommended to make a reservation and specify that you want to make this dish. An exquisite flavor, accompanied by a highly recommended house wine. For the price of approximately €35 we have been very, very satisfied. A mandatory restaurant for all those who want to try this typical and local dish.

The CACIUCCO is excellent..... A truly familiar place where the staff really makes you feel at home. The only thing that... let's say I reproach myself is that after the caciucco I wouldn't have been able to eat the fried food that I wanted to try so much. I saw it being served between the tables and I wanted it. Good excuse to come back, of course. Thanks to everyone at l'Osteria del Mare.

Veramente un buon ristorante a pochi passi dai 4 Mori. Condotto da marito e moglie in cucina, regalano dei buoni sapori di mare e fra questi di gran lunga su tutti il cacciucco. Un pò meno scintillanti i dolci. Comunque da tenere in considerazione.
