Ristorante Osteria Dal Cavaliere In Verona

As we walked past, we were drawn to the restaurant because it was in a quiet area. The menu, however, doesn't offer much choice. We were initially told that lasagna was no longer available that day. We then ordered spaghetti carbonara and macaroni with meatballs, along with a mixed salad. The carbonara was quite tasty. The meatballs were completely forgotten in the macaroni, so it was just macaroni with a tomato sauce. And the salad was overpriced at €8 and a bit disappointing. The service, unfortunately, wasn't that good either. We asked for the bill and had to wait 20 minutes before we went inside and paid ourselves. The waiter could have also suggested that it would be better to pay inside. A €2.50 per person charge is added to the bill for the table setting. So, unfortunately, I don't recommend it.

Quiet. Local. Cool. Informal. Good reasonable food. We had anchovies and tartare. Delicious.

We arrived early afternoon in Verona and were looking for a dinner spot close to our apartment. We identified this restaurant and while it was very busy, they were able to seat our party of 3. We ordered Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Bigoli con polpa d'Anatra and Buffalo mozzarella with tomato slices. All orders were very good. Service was good. Price point was reasonable. We recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our local hostess. Unfortunately, it didn't suit our taste. However, it certainly did suit other guests' tastes. Everything was too salty and generally very oily for us. The restroom was very old and could use some renovation. The staff was friendly.

Hey, we were there a week ago, but we wouldn't go back. I ordered a carbonara, which was delicious, but in retrospect, I've had better. We had to laugh at first, then be disappointed, because my partner only got half of the buffalo mozzarella. 😅 A minus for the service, as we waited a long time before we were allowed to place our order. When I raised my hand and wanted to speak to the waiter, I got the answer "calmo, calmo, don't worry," which we found a bit strange. Since this was our first vacation in Italy and our first meal in a restaurant, we didn't know what servizio was on the bill. When we asked the waiter what it was, he told us, "We are always including the tips for us because some people don't leave tips." 😂😂😂 Of course, we were a bit confused by his statement; only later did we find out what servizio and coperta were for.

Locale suggeritoci dal personale di un bar nelle vicinanze, locale molto carino e accogliente. Personale gentilissimo e professionale. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e il prezzo assolutamente adeguato. bravissimi torneremo sicuramente

locale molto caratteristico, cibo di ottima qualità e porzioni abbondanti, consiglio di provare il guancialino molto buono. ottima rapporto qualità prezzo ed anche il vino al calice molto buono
