Typical osteria place, we ate well, lots of dishes and moderate prices, very fast service despite the very busy restaurant, I will definitely return.

Osteria Agostiniana is a true gourmet experience, located in a magical place that's well worth a visit. Pippo, the owner, and his entire staff are a blend of kindness and courtesy. As always, we ate wonderfully. I highly recommend it, it's well worth it.

We were here for Ferragosto (August 15th) and had a truly wonderful time. The restaurant has a welcoming and refined atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and always available to recommend the best dishes. The food is excellent and plentiful, with fresh fish cooked in a variety of ways and many unique dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. Each dish is prepared with attention to detail and served perfectly. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent. We will definitely be back!

The fixed menu is 40 euros! It's delicious, and they even let you try their liqueurs at the end! I had a great time.

We dined at this osteria during a stay in Taormina. We took advantage of an afternoon to visit the village of Forza d'Agrò and dine at this osteria, which was highly recommended by the owner of the B&B where we stayed. We were looking for a place that would offer an authentic local Sicilian experience, and we definitely found it! We chose two tasting menus: appetizers and first courses, one vegetarian and one fish. We ate so much and enjoyed all the dishes, both hot and cold, from both menus, so much so that we collapsed on the bench in the adjacent square for about 30 minutes. Recommended for those seeking an authentic experience, and a visit to this village where time has stood still is also highly recommended.

Sunday in Forza D'Agró. At lunchtime, we checked availability at various restaurants. Given its popularity, we chose this one. It was very crowded, so the owner moved us to the other restaurant, the Hotel Agostiniana. The atmosphere was very chaotic and crowded, we couldn't even talk. The staff didn't acknowledge the availability; it took us at least 10 minutes to make it clear that we had a reservation thanks to the main restaurant. The fixed menu was mandatory. Appetizer and first course, appetizer, first course and second course, or appetizer and second course. We chose appetizer and first course for €40 per person. As for the appetizers, I have nothing to say; everything was very good, plenty of choice, my compliments. The first courses were a no-no. They brought gnocchi with pesto and shrimp. The pesto tasted like nothing, and you could tell they were frozen shrimp. The seafood rice and spaghetti allo scoglio were tasteless and a little too al dente; both were good. The only good one was the fresh pasta with fennel, Rizzo, breadcrumbs, and swordfish. I'll definitely be back to try the original restaurant and especially for a menu of my choice. For now, I'm giving it 3 stars.

Mediocre appetizers, some bland and others salty, lots of gratin with a doughy crumb and even sand or something similar in some courses. Exceptional white wine, excellent first courses, and equally delicious desserts. Cute place, clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. Prices a little higher than average.

Bezoek aan Forza D’Agro en hier heerlijk geluncht. Bediening is vriendelijk maar spreekt slecht Engels. Echter het eten is heerlijk. Het volledige vis menu is top maar wel veel. Dit is zeker goed voor 2 personen. Alles is vers en de wijnen zijn super. Na een goede lunch zit je de rest van de goed vol 😛 1 punt, de toiletten zijn niet schoon. Daarom 4 sterren.
