A very pleasant evening overall

Classy restaurant with very professional and friendly staff and service. Delicious food, with a wide variety of daily specials! Definitely worth a try, you won't regret it!

On our last night in Sorrento, we visited Positano by boat and came back for dinner. The food was simple but satisfying — a nice way to end our trip. A memorable evening.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. So good we ate dinner here twice in two days!! Local Italian family dining at its absolute best. We did the “tasting” one nightand it was incredible!! Next night was simple pizza and pasta- once again, incredible! The staff made us feel like family and the locally sourced dishes were superb. This is the kind of place where meals aren’t just enjoyed- memories are made. The location brings a lot of tourists and it can get busy- but the staff works tirelessly to ensure a great experience. A phenomenal wine list- encyclopedia is more like it- and a traditional menu of pizza, pasta dishes along with more curated, local creations for those looking for something on the creative side. Love love love O’canonico and top of our recommendation when visiting Sorrento.

Our visit here was simply magnificent, exquisite. Everything from the food and drink, to the service from Michele was perfect. I’ve been here in Sorrento for over a week and this has been the best meal we’ve had by far, if I could stay longer I would just for this restaurant alone. Thank you for an amazing experience, thank you again to Michele, and thank you to the chef or chefs for a perfect evening. I hope and pray I’ll be back 🙏🏼

Nos encontramos con este restaurante por suerte y no decepcionó. El servicio, la comida y el ambiente en general era excepcional! Recomendaría encarecidamente que visites este restaurante si estás en la ciudad.

The fried zucchini was outstanding! It’s a casual spot with high-end quality dishes. I recommend the prawns too, they were very fresh and flavorful. The service was also top-notch and very friendly / attentive. There’s a reason this place has been around since 1898! Truly amazing spot!

Standing ovation per il nuovo menù ideato dallo chef e dai patron fratelli Terminiello. Una serata splendida, grazie alla compagnia ma anche grazie all'ospitalità e professionalità del personale e dei padroni di casa. La location è in pieno centro a Sorrento in un angolo discreto della Piazza Tasso da cui osservare il passeggio ma da una posizione riservata. Abbiamo cenato immersi tra le bottiglie di vini pregiati provenienti dalla ricchissima cantina, ben oltre le 5000 etichette. Addirittura al piano superiore è presente un'enoteca da 1000 e una notte. I piatti sono stati tutti meritevoli si tornare a riassaggiarli. Un plauso particolare al carciofo cotto a bassa temperatura e i cappelletti alla genovese. Si spazia tra piatti di mare e di carne senza tralasciare piatti di verdure. Consigliatissimo. Un angolino per i dolci merita di essere lasciato
