05/01/2025: A truly very interesting structure, a few kilometers from Camaldoli and in an ideal position for trekking lovers, with dozens of routes easily reachable both by car and on foot. A recovered farmhouse, a historic inn, with breathtaking views, from the main terrace, which reaches up to Poppi. Large room (a suite) well laid out, and with adequate division between the living area and the sleeping area. A little cold upon arrival, but then you got used to it. On the other hand, when you choose (rightly) to intervene as little as possible in the recovery, to maintain the original style, you can do so. Interesting is the presence of a small sauna inside the rooms, don't expect anything but for those who are a sauna lover like me, it is another plus that I appreciated. Another plus is that dogs are welcome and well tolerated. The Mater restaurant was closed, but this did not limit an excellent buffet breakfast, with the possibility of table service. Buffet not exaggerated but with quality products, and above all constantly replenished. Very friendly staff, impeccable service. Price appropriate for the service
