The carbonara was just okay, but the appetizers really stood out—especially the octopus herb frittata and the vegetable herb frittata. The staff were amazing: incredibly kind and friendly throughout the meal. We ordered the steak as well, which was pretty good. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and chocolate soufflé, and both were great, with the tiramisu being the clear standout.

There's no need to rush when warm music suddenly envelops you, and without realizing it, you feel drawn to the place where the sound arises.
You enter, and with the harmony of the sound, you're greeted by smiles of a kindness
that feels sincere.
There's no doubt about the right place to stop for a meal worthy of the setting, enveloped by warm jazz, the tones of stone and tuff.
I'm at the Van Westerhout restaurant in Mola di Bari, renowned for its dishes respectful of tradition, enriched by elegant pairings and the pleasure of a taste both ancient and new.
We'll definitely return on our trips from Venice.

What a hidden gem this place is. We found it by chance and ate there on two evenings. The food was superb and the service and atmosphere really friendly and welcoming. If you’re ever in Mola Di Bari please seek this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

We had such a great meal last night, we had to go again tonight. The Tarantina style peppered mussels were simply to die for. We followed with the excellent Gallipoli red prawns . Best meal we have had since last night!
