Ran into this place because it was raining and was the top 1 by ChatGPT. Let me tell you that chatGPt got it right. Service was great, they provided great recommendations for food and wine. We tried the cheese ravioli with bolognese and butter and sage. They were totally different, but both very good. Wire was excellent! Most people in the restaurant were Italian which is a great sign.

Everything was top-notch in terms of the quality of the cuisine, the courtesy of the wait staff, and the friendliness of the owner Giampiero, who is a real character.
Truly excellent, we'll be returning from Umbria specifically for another top-notch seafood lunch.

Lovely restaurant! We were in the mood for a nice seafood lunch before our visit to the Ostia Antica ruins.
This fit the bill perfectly. The owner greeted us warmly. He spoke great English and made some excellent suggestions. We had some allergy concerns and he helped us make some great choices. We ended up with the tuna steak, pasta with clams and sautéed vegetables. Everything was amazing.
Both the owner and the server were friendly and efficient. The seafood was fresh and prepared perfectly.
I would highly recommend.

Di solito quando recensisco su TripAdvisor non sono così schematico ma credo che renda meglio il mio pensiero. La premessa è che sono stato bene ed ho mangiato del buon pesce.
PRO
- location rustica ma molto caratteristica;
- servizio cordiale ed efficiente (ci sono stato a pranzo in un giorno festivo ma l'attesa è stata accettabilissima)
- menù interessantissimo, con pesce fresco lavorato bene
(Leggermente) CONTRO
- le porzioni non sono insufficienti ma per il tipo di offerta qualcosa in più sarebbe stato auspicabile
- il prezzo mi sembra più in linea con un ristorante di fascia più alta
- occhio agli spicchi d'aglio...

Dropped in here for lunch after visiting the incredible ruins of Ostia Antica. Super friendly staff. We had two of the best bowls of pasta in our lives - mine was a seafood mix of mussels, prawns and octopus. The desserts were all homemade and in a display cabinet - I couldn't choose, they all looked delicious. In the end we chose a kind of custardy/choux pastry one. It was insanely good - so light and delicious. Again, probably two of the best desserts of our lives. I can't recommend this place enough - a fabulously memorable morning among the Roman ruins topped off perfectly by the chance finding of this culinary treasure.
