The best meal we had this trip in Italy!!! The waiters were friendly and the food was AMAZING! It’s just a lovely place to be. We started with the fried anchovy, main seafood pasta and mixed grilled seafood. Dessert tiramisu and nut cake. Nut cake too sweet for me but the rest were delicious.

First of all, this is just my personal opinion and experience!
I can say that the quality is excellent and the food is fresh. If I'm craving Italian food, Monumento is my number one choice! Kudos to the owner, but especially to the chef and his team!

You immediately understand why so many famous people have been dining here for over a century...
The service is exceptional.
The highly professional staff immediately puts you at ease.

The place is magical for its location, plus the quality of the food is truly excellent, the chickpea soup I highly recommend... then everything is finished with a friendly and always available service without ever being overly invasive... absolutely worth trying

Di solito quando recensisco su TripAdvisor non sono così schematico ma credo che renda meglio il mio pensiero. La premessa è che sono stato bene ed ho mangiato del buon pesce.

- location rustica ma molto caratteristica;
- servizio cordiale ed efficiente (ci sono stato a pranzo in un giorno festivo ma l'attesa è stata accettabilissima)
- menù interessantissimo, con pesce fresco lavorato bene
(Leggermente) CONTRO
- le porzioni non sono insufficienti ma per il tipo di offerta qualcosa in più sarebbe stato auspicabile
- il prezzo mi sembra più in linea con un ristorante di fascia più alta
- occhio agli spicchi d'aglio...

A wonderful experience all around. Extremely professional, courteous and friendly staff - excellent food and wine pairing. Perfect for after a visit to Castello Julio II to which it is adjacent or the Archeological Park 1/4 mile away.
