Tonight on the occasion of our nephew's concert in the hamlet of Ostia Antica, we stopped for dinner in your beautiful restaurant (Monumento), we arrived without a reservation but we received a wonderful welcome in a warm and refined environment, we ate bruschetta, meatballs and excellent cappelletti, we will return as soon as possible and we will certainly recommend your beautiful restaurant 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I must come back to taste your splendid desserts 🍰 😋 congratulations 👍🥰

We arrived at this restaurant with a vintage look, but extremely refined and charming, at an unlikely time but nevertheless the friendly owner made us sit down and welcomed us with great warmth. We were served immediately and ate very well. The portions are perfect, the menu original and varied, the atmosphere pleasant. The wonderful view. I will give the menu a 5 if the vegan choice could be expanded a little, including desserts. I always come back willingly

Conosco questo ristorante da molti anni ed ho mangiato sempre bene. Il giorno di Natale hanno superato se stessi, ho messo 5 stelle, non potendone mettere di più. Locale pieno, con menù alla carta, professionalità fin dal nostro arrivo. Ringrazio Giampiero e il suo staff per l'eccellente pranzo.

Ostia antica is wonderful and the Monumento restaurant is certainly noteworthy. Location absolutely well known and well managed. Very fresh and well prepared fish. Reservations are required on weekends and in summer. In the evening the very welcoming veranda is suggestive. The cellar is also very good. I also suggest getting advice from Gianpiero who knows his way around the room very well. Friendly staff and on nice days you can eat outdoors.

After consulting their website we decided to eat at the restaurant. The experience exceeded our expectations. All excellent for a price appropriate to the quality of the product. The excellent treatment received was priceless. Highly recommended.

Business dinner in one of the best restaurants in Ostia and surrounding areas. Easily reachable with the information available on navigators. However, car parking in the surrounding area is difficult. The place is located in a historic, characteristic place. Excellent welcome. Various seats. Dishes definitely worth trying: appetizer based on sautéed mussels and marinated anchovies, fried fish, pasta with calamari sauce, mixed grilled fish (including scampi). The white wine is delicious as is the ricotta and pear cake.

10/11/2024: Family-run restaurant, they offer homemade cuisine of both meat and fish, the fettuccine and ravili are homemade by them, the dishes are plentiful and well cooked, the service is fast and the quality of the raw materials used is excellent, it's a shame to have to give only 5 fully satisfied highly recommended

04/01/2025: If you are looking for a place to feel at home with amazing dishes and welcoming service... YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE. With a couple of friends and two four-legged friends we had the pleasure of tasting flavors that taste like home (one of us is Calabrian)... the menu on the blackboard, the passion of the two owners and the landscape of Monte Livata are were the strong points of this wonderful little corner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED❤️
01/01/2025: Mi sono ripromessa di fare una bella recensione a questo posticino perché se la meritano tutta!! Prima di tutto le Donne che ci lavorano tutte estremamente super carine, disponibili e gentili (cosa non da poco). Abbiamo iniziato con un aperitivo tra amici (ci hanno portato un bel tagliere abbondante con salumi e formaggi del posto, con del pane bruscato e un vino della casa che ci ha sorpreso).. inutile dire che i salumi erano spettacolari. Dopo di che siamo tornati in coppia per pranzare e abbiamo preso un altro litro del vino della casa e due primi davvero davvero buoni e abbondanti. Purtroppo siamo dovuti scappare sennò avremmo volentieri preso anche la pancetta che ci ispirava tantissimo. Credo che il menù cambi di volta in volta perché era scritto sulla lavagnetta comunque avrei preso ogni cosa perché erano tutti piatti “casarecci” in senso buono. Ultimo punto di forza: rapporto qualità prezzo più che giusto (ad esempio 1 litro di vino, acqua, due primi e due caffè: 35 euro). Se ci andate vi assicuro che non vi pentirete!! Noi ci torneremo sicuramente :)
