An absolutely enchanting location near the walls of Ostia Antica, romantic and welcoming.
I've lived in Casal Palocco for 55 years and was unfamiliar with this extraordinary restaurant. It offers the freshest seafood, with a fantastic owner who welcomed us with open arms and a smile, recommending exceptional seafood dishes. I discovered flavors I'd never tried before: sea bass ravioli, sea asparagus (salicornia), cuttlefish with peas, and spaghetti with clams and cockles.
I can't say enough about this incredible place; suffice it to say that by dining here, you'll find yourself walking in the footsteps of Totò, the Dalai Lama, Mitterrand, and Jacqueline Kennedy.

Fabulous venue, very attentive, professional, and friendly wait staff. The manager, whom we stopped to chat with for a few minutes, was extremely pleasant. The dishes were truly delicious; we had an appetizer for two, two first courses, and the tiramisu, which deserves an honorable mention. We celebrated our anniversary here and will gladly return.

Excellent muscles! Apparently, the somewhat enclosed sea has a higher salt content which seems to enhance the flavor.

I'm surprised I've never left a review for this restaurant; I've been going here since I could barely walk. It remains, and has remained, one of my favorite restaurants in Rome over the years. Located in the charming hamlet of Ostia Antica, it's a MUST if you're in the area. The owner knows how to run a restaurant, is friendly, and never comes across as offensive. The menu features those unwavering dishes and others that change; always ask for the special of the day; it's almost certainly worth a try!
