Used for a fleeting drink after climbing to the sanctuary, I can only say that the view from the panoramic terrace is fabulous, next time we will try the restaurant. As promised on Sunday we tried the restaurant, it deserves all 5 stars, had lunch on the terrace with a wonderful sun enjoying a breathtaking view, kind and helpful staff, generous but above all excellent dishes, I recommend booking.

The view of the Po Valley of Milan Varese and the surrounding lakes is very beautiful, unique and spectacular. The room and terrace are intimate and beautiful.

We had lunch on the terrace despite the cold, the view is spectacular.
Good food, the only negative, but only due to the cold, is that the fried dumpling cooled immediately and was hard.
Good service and fair bill.

Courteous and fast service. Very good food and low prices. We ate very good polenta with wild boar and porcini mushrooms. Fantastic desserts too

In una splendida domenica autunnale il sacro monte è affollato e dopo aver visitato cripta e museo, affamati cerchiamo un locale che ci ospiti…purtroppo veniamo rimbalzati da 2 ristoranti che sono full, arriviamo al Montorfano e nonostante sia strapieno un tavolo esterno è disponibile; i locandieri sono molto gentili e in pochi minuti siamo seduti con acqua, pane e del buon vino; ottime e abbondanti le pappardelle al cinghiale e porcini, poi una cheesecake alle castagne straordinaria ci fa godere ancor di più della giornata; prezzo corretto 52 euro…ho fatto i complimenti e ci ritorno alla prima occasione
