Ristorante Monte Selva In Barisciano

A place close to my heart... Abruzzo feels like home to me. This little hotel is delightful, and the food is excellent, even for outside guests.

I was a guest for work. If I ever come to L'Aquila for a vacation, I'll definitely stay at this family-run, yet truly professionally managed hotel. The food was delicious, with a freshly baked croissant for breakfast, just the way I like it. The staff were helpful and attentive to their guests' habits. They noticed I was carefully avoiding tomatoes and dairy products and offered suitable options without a word. I thanked them and explained my slight intolerances. The RESTAURANT/PIZZERIA is spacious and attractive, with rooms that sleep three, and tidy and comfortable bathrooms. But above all these aesthetic features, I have to give it a sixth star for the cleanliness of all the rooms. Finally, there's ample parking with a large solar shelter that can accommodate five or six vans or trucks.

Recommended. We ordered three pizzas (my mother is celiac and said it was among the best she's ever eaten), and my dad ordered the cod trio, which was also very good. Kudos to the staff, too; the waitress who served us was named Sara and was very helpful and polite. A well-deserved 5 stars for the restaurant.

We've been to the restaurant a couple of times. The à la carte menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are very good. So we decided to celebrate our son's birthday here: excellent food, excellent service. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value. We'll be back, and... we will be back!

It is walkable from a town of Barisciano. The restaurant has very warm and friendly atmosphere. They have very good quality/ variety of pizzas made by hand and special oven. We enjoyed pizza, veggies and wine. They gave us pretty photos of the area. It added a great memory to the trip.

We stopped only for refreshments, the food was excellent, the service was excellent, hospitable and elegant.

We came to dinner two nights in a row at this restaurant with my partner and our two beautiful large dogs, who were pampered by all the staff... We ate very well and the prices are normal... My dogs loved it too, especially when they saw them coming out of the kitchen with some bones in their hands for them 😍☺️

Excellent restaurant, a cuisine that changes, instant risotto, fafardelle baccala....

I've eaten at this restaurant on two occasions. The first time we opted for the pizzeria, and it was a real success. Very good pizza, perfect dough, and an excellent selection of ingredients. They truly have pizzas for all tastes. The second time we opted for the cod menu. This time, too, was a great success, with both first and second course options that were anything but predictable and, above all, well-executed. The menu, the venue, and the service truly reflect the nature of its owners, Luca and Alessandro, who are energetic, fresh, and full of enthusiasm. A pleasant experience that I highly recommend to everyone.
