Ristorante Mondo E Luca In Cagliari

Located in the heart of the Stampace district in Cagliari, Mondo & Luca is a welcoming restaurant that offers cuisine inspired by Sardinian tradition, with particular attention to fish dishes. The overall experience was pleasant, but not without some small imperfections. The food stands out for the quality of the ingredients and the attention to traditional recipes. The sea bream with Vernaccia turned out to be the real highlight of the evening: one of the best I've ever tasted, juicy, tasty and cooked to perfection. However, there were some problems with the temperatures of other dishes: the octopus salad was served a little too cold and the dessert was still partially frozen. The restaurant is comfortable and well-kept, ideal for a relaxing dinner, and the staff were kind and helpful, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere. With a bill of 75 euros for two, the quality-price ratio is normal, but greater attention to detail would have improved the experience. However, Mondo & Luca remains an interesting restaurant, perfect for those looking for a taste of Sardinian cuisine, with the potential to take a further step forward.

Excellent place with fresh and abundant dishes

Excellent experience, quality food, we were served by a very kind, very professional and friendly gentleman. We took a course of seafood appetizers, a sea bream with Vernaccia and fried calamari, water, house wine, coffee and dessert and spent 80 euros. Very honest price given the quality of the raw material, I would have liked to take photos but it was all too inviting and I forgot.

Absolutely authentic Italian food. Most of the guests and staff are almost exclusively locals. We still communicated in English as best we could :)

Esperienza bellissima. Il titolare “Luca” una persona fantastica. Abbiamo Iniziato con degli antipasti Burrida. Pesce spada, cozze etc tutto freschissimo e buonissimo. Come primo abbiamo preso gli spaghetti al sugo di granchio e la fregola di mare. Che dire tutto veramente eccezionale. Locale molto carino e pulito, il personale molto cortese e professionale. Locale consigliatissimo.

Per concludere la nostra vacanza a Chia in Sardegna prima di tornare a casa siamo tornati a pranzo da Luca al ristorante Mondo & Luca! Sempre un ottima scelta con bottarga e sedano freschissima per antipasto , spaghetti alle arselle e orata buonissima alla Vernaccia ! Il tutto con un ottimo vermentino ... Dolce con un ottimo moscato e mirto! Grazie alla professionalità e bravura di Luca e di Renzo e della Cucina! Torneremo presto!
