I had dinner with my wife a few evenings ago, initially we were a little skeptical of the hotel-restaurant formula, but without prejudice we entered the restaurant. The choice of the a la carte restaurant inside a hotel is always the best choice, hotel customers are not conditioned by the archaic half board, and customers can choose from the menu what and how much to eat, also giving opportunity for those coming from outside to be able to enjoy a restaurant that is also open outside. Apart from some small new style changes in the contemporary presentation, everything was fresh especially the fish, the service was well looked after, from more than 2 waiters, a comìm and a knowledgeable maitre who accompanied us with serenity and elegance until the end. I highly recommend this restaurant, fine cuisine, excellent service and delicious desserts, if I really had to make a criticism, I would say that the Montecarlo Particolare Rosè is sold at too low a price. Good work

Ne avevo un ricordo decisamente migliore. Uno dei capisaldo della ristorazione in Valdinievole, vera e propria istituzione a Ponte Buggianese, tradizione, garbo, cordialità, niente da dire da questo punto di vista. Ma la cucina ha una mano anni Ottanta che è fuori dai tempi. Non entro nemmeno nel merito del gradevole o sgradevole o di commentare un piatto o l'altro, uno può venir meglio un altro un pò meno, per carità del cielo. E' l'insieme della proposta culinaria che è decisamente fuori dall'attualità di quel che si trova abitualmente adesso in un ristorante.

18/01/2025: Exceptional! Super helpfulness from the staff! Also excellent for those who unfortunately have celiac disease! Excellent prices and obviously excellent value for money! Excellent food, from starter to dessert!
31/12/2024: Friendly staff. An identical or very similar gluten-free variant of each dish is offered. Homemade pasta with and without gluten. Cozy environment. It is located in the centre, in Piazza della Sala, so the car park is not very close.

17/11/2024: The ice cream shop is not a shop but a jewelry boutique. It goes without saying how good his ice cream is, Andrea is a master and his creations are works of art. Behind tireless laboratories are hidden perfumes, memories, emotions, enjoyment through a simple cup or one of its fruits (true art) dug and filled with "its" fruit. The highest quality raw material is a cornerstone in his laboratory, as is seasonality, well-being towards the consumer for products that are good for you, and through his mastery in always creating something unrepeatable and unique. Each season has its own predefined fruit flavour, coming from observation and care of the primary product, and the part of its creams are clear, decisive, no-frills "flavours", which reach the heart. Its double cream, salted pistachio. An ice cream that doesn't make you drink liters of water, that fills you up and takes you anywhere and at any time. Its fruit is real fruit, but the best, the one you would never be able to find. Its fat-free and lactose-free chocolate, real chocolate. His summer granitas, whipped for hours and hours. I will never thank Andrea and his family enough for the emotions he manages to give us with his ice cream... and much more. Grateful to have you as an excellence in our territory.
