I had dinner with my wife a few evenings ago, initially we were a little skeptical of the hotel-restaurant formula, but without prejudice we entered the restaurant. The choice of the a la carte restaurant inside a hotel is always the best choice, hotel customers are not conditioned by the archaic half board, and customers can choose from the menu what and how much to eat, also giving opportunity for those coming from outside to be able to enjoy a restaurant that is also open outside. Apart from some small new style changes in the contemporary presentation, everything was fresh especially the fish, the service was well looked after, from more than 2 waiters, a comìm and a knowledgeable maitre who accompanied us with serenity and elegance until the end. I highly recommend this restaurant, fine cuisine, excellent service and delicious desserts, if I really had to make a criticism, I would say that the Montecarlo Particolare Rosè is sold at too low a price. Good work

Ne avevo un ricordo decisamente migliore. Uno dei capisaldo della ristorazione in Valdinievole, vera e propria istituzione a Ponte Buggianese, tradizione, garbo, cordialità, niente da dire da questo punto di vista. Ma la cucina ha una mano anni Ottanta che è fuori dai tempi. Non entro nemmeno nel merito del gradevole o sgradevole o di commentare un piatto o l'altro, uno può venir meglio un altro un pò meno, per carità del cielo. E' l'insieme della proposta culinaria che è decisamente fuori dall'attualità di quel che si trova abitualmente adesso in un ristorante.

20/11/2024: While passing through Pistoia we came across this pork butchery by pure chance and we had a great time! Despite the hour, well after 3.30pm, they served us kindly and quickly. Obviously the cold cuts are king and you can't leave either hungry or disappointed. Perhaps you could invest in some more comfortable chairs or some larger and more stable tables? Maybe yes but it's not essential...
26/09/2024: A pork butchery that gives the opportunity to taste its excellent production, in fact a characteristic trattoria in the historic center of Pistoia, in Piazza della Sala, with the flavor of the good things of the past. We ate inside in front of the cold cuts counter, a farinata with black cabbage, macaroni with duck ragout, livers and fried apples for dessert, all excellent. The owner is an exquisite and friendly person. Super recommended

09/12/2024: Center of Pistoia In a characteristic corner of Pistoia there is this restaurant with a spartan charm, with few seats that recall the intimacy of a home-made meal. The location is simple, without frills, with a single room that hosts customers and an open kitchen that adds a touch of authenticity. The menu, although not very extensive, focuses on Tuscan specialties, keeping faith with tradition. We started with the appetizers, well prepared and tasty, and then moved on to the meat dishes, which proved satisfying, but not unforgettable. In general, the place deserves an overall rating of 7. It exceeds the passing mark thanks to the quality of the raw materials and the authenticity of the offering, but it does not leave its mark in terms of gastronomic experience or atmosphere. I recommend it to those who are willing to give up comfort and luxury to live an authentic Tuscan cuisine experience. It is the right place for those who appreciate the simplicity and flavor of tradition, without too many expectations.
25/11/2024: I had already been to this cute place yesterday I returned to visit the splendid historic center of Pistoia and I returned again to the Storno I ate very well for lunch, tasty and plentiful dishes, excellent service and adequate prices, very pleasant location I recommend it
