We had dinner two evenings in this hotel restaurant. Excellent dishes, very well prepared, generous portions, special mention for the prawn tartare and the pear and ricotta dessert. Friendly staff.

The windy evening certainly didn't help being on the terrace, but beyond that the terrace with sea view is an ideal place to dine, while the interior is certainly not up to par. Everything we ate was certainly excellent, however some dishes such as the ravioli were a bit disappointing in the portions (given the price) which were 5 small ravioli; in any case, everything is of good quality. The service was initially quite efficient, but after bringing us the first courses, it was difficult to even order wines or desserts. In general, a restaurant that is perhaps too sophisticated

Dinner organized and offered remotely by our children to celebrate 43 years of marriage. Surprise menu with dishes that make you go "Wow!" : "when God created love", "a backdrop of passion", etc. The red shrimp cheesecake appetizer has a flavor that explodes in your mouth. And finally, a "homemade" bouquet of flowers as a gift (because there is no flower shop on the island). Thank you for helping to make this anniversary unforgettable for us.

Worth trying to definitely have a point of comparison compared to the other restaurants on the island, the portions are slightly lower than average and the prices a little higher, otherwise the quality and presentation of the dishes is impeccable.

Posto da sogno… in una piccola isola da sogno… Curato nei minimi dettagli e super elegante ma comunque a tema marino… Cibo di qualità estrema ed anche i piatti serviti con una presentazione davvero bellissima elegante e ricercata… … rapporto qualità prezzo davvero da bocca aperta! Insomma consigliatissimo una bellissima esperienza culinaria!

22/12/2024: We had the most beautiful evening here during our vacation in Italy. Authentic Italian food was introduced to us by attentive hosts. The food was delicious and good value for money. We felt very taken care of.
30/11/2024: Nice atmosphere, no frills, friendly and helpful staff, good food but little variety, open kitchen. I appreciated the fact that the chef doesn't overdo the salt. Unfortunately I took few photos but it was worth taking a look at the open kitchen

14/01/2025: A Saturday in Gaeta and a tip from a local to eat something quick before an appointment.... The Butcher's shop! A little old environment with some infiltration on the ceiling which was found well and contributes to a pleasant environment. Lively welcome from the owner who, together with the cook, governs the place. Let's start with a mussel health and a chickpea and clam soup: the first ones are not very tasty and a little forced in the dish served and I'm not enthusiastic about the soup... a little salty and a little too soupy. Followed by spaghetti Gaetana with anchovies, fennel, olives, tomato which for me are too pimpy... but my wife likes it and a fujto cod parmigiana, who had seen little of cod. White house wine Malvasia Puntonato and Trebbiano conclude a less than satisfactory visit... with a bill of around €60. correct. ps if we ate better even more correct
31/12/2024: Homemade cuisine in medieval Gaeta. All homemade, authentic and rustic flavors. Fair prices and great service!
