This year we went to the seaside in Castiglione della Pescaia and along the way, on a roundabout, there is this place.
We booked the day before for the mid-August evening.
I got the tortelli with wild boar ragù, my partner courgettes with ragù filling and the boy's veal steak and a side dish of courgette flowers.
All the food was very good and my partner tasted one of my tortellos calling it spectacular.
The portions seemed a little small to us.
The place is rustic but very well kept.
The service was good.

The place is dated but has a large car park, classic hotel with restaurant in the middle of the countryside. Rather rough waiters. The tortelli and gnocchi are good, it's a shame that they put too little salt in the cooking water and in the sauce so that everything remains tasteless. Good fried flowers.

I recommend booking before arrival, as the place is very popular and is completely full already at 19:30. The local cuisine is incomparable. We didn't book a table ourselves, but were kindly seated and fed outside.
The food is divine, but upon entering the restaurant, it definitely became clear that it would be more interesting and pleasant to sit inside 💖

I've always been happy to go back every summer for the fantastic tortelli but, after noticing the increase in prices the other evening (15 euros for tortelli plus 2 cover charge), I don't think I'll go back again....

Amazing home style restaurant with delicious home-made pasta and dessert. The meat dishes were ok, some a bit on the small side, but overall a great experience, I would come back anytime! Don’t miss out on the pasta dishes and their home-made cakes!! A must in the area.
