A wonderful experience; the food was excellent, from the starter to the dessert, everything was delicious. Plus, since Lucio Corsi was passing by, probably to say hello to his mother and grandmother, he kindly agreed to take a photo with us.

The restaurant offers homemade Maremma cuisine, where the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs stand out.
The rustic atmosphere, frozen in time, evokes the old trattorias that welcomed travelers passing by with their Maremma ox carts...
Reservations are practically mandatory, otherwise it's difficult to find a table!
Free parking is available next to the restaurant.
The menu features only typical Maremma dishes, with tortelli (a must-try) taking center stage, but everything else is equally delicious, from roast rabbit to zucchini flowers and all the homemade desserts!
Compliments to Lucio Corsi's family for the authenticity of their food and the warmth and customer service of the entire staff.

The place is truly delightful. There wasn't the hustle and bustle I expected, given that it's quite a well-known place now. The people were really nice and kind, super quick to serve, and the food was perfect.
A truly sweet place. I hope to return. I had a wonderful time. 💕

The Macchiascandona restaurant is one of those places that seems frozen in time, where every detail exudes a sense of home and authenticity. Knowing that it's the family restaurant of singer-songwriter Lucio Corsi, of whom I admit I'm a huge fan (and therefore perhaps a little biased), makes the experience even more special: you immediately sense the same poetry and authenticity that Lucio conveys in his songs.
The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, with wooden tables and warm lighting that create an intimate, almost family-like atmosphere. You truly feel like you're eating at a friend's house, or rather, among family—that Tuscan family that knows how to welcome you with a smile and a glass of good wine.
The cuisine is more than home-cooked, in the best sense of the word: authentic flavors, generous portions, and local ingredients. The tortelli al ragù deserve an honorable mention: fresh pasta, a soft filling, and a sauce that exudes patience and tradition.
To round out the meal, a selection of artisanal desserts to be applauded, all kinds of cakes, strictly homemade, that express the same passion as the cuisine. I would gladly return even just for the desserts!
Macchiascandona is a little corner of authentic Tuscany, romantic and full of warmth, just like a song by Lucio Corsi.

We were traveling from Viareggio to Rome for the Film Festival and decided to stop halfway for lunch here. The food was excellent. The Maremma tordelli and the wild boar were superb. The kindness and hospitality made you feel pampered and at home. The dessert trolley deserves a special mention. You'll want to try them all, which is why we'll definitely be back. We were very satisfied!

Much hyped, nothing extraordinary. Average food, noteworthy desserts. Would I leave home to go there specifically? No. Would I happen to be passing by during lunch and dinner hours? I might even stop by. Plus, it's not exactly cheap...

Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante gestito dalla famiglia di Lucio Corsi
Siamo stati molto bene, nella corte esterna del ristorante
Abbiamo ordinato tortelli maremmani al ragù di carne, prima un antipasto di terra misto, coniglio, fettina ai ferri e cinghiale in umido, accompagnati da patate arrosto e fiori fritti.
I dolci della casa top: un plum-cake alle mele, una cheesecake al caramello salato, sfoglia con crema, torta cioccolato e peperoncino, infine caffè e vino sfuso rosso della casa
Lo consiglio con la prenotazione, piatti giusti e servizio veloce !!

Mio marito e io siamo stati a Macchiascandona il giorno dopo il concerto di Lucio Corsi a Capannelle. Era un modo per non sentire troppo presto la nostalgia una volta trascorso l'evento perché Lucio è il nostro cantante del cuore. Quindi non pensavamo minimamente a come saremmo stati. Invece anche il ristorante ci ha conquistati: l'ambiente è piacevole, familiare, il clima è disteso; ogni cosa è cucinata come se la preparassero per persone care: i tortelli della signora Milena, gli gnocchi con gli asparagi, i fiori di zucca fritti, i dolci erano perfetti; il personale è gentilissimo. Siamo tornati a luglio e ci torneremo presto.
