Ristorante Lucia In Giulianova

15/01/2026: I went today for the first time after visiting the Sanctuary. I usually go to another restaurant nearby, but luckily it was closed today, forcing me to change. I chose "La Perla del Gran Sasso" because it was the only one open and because I'd already heard good things about it. The location is very simple but welcoming. The waitress is very professional, kind, and quick with service. I chose the €25 fixed menu. Pappardelle with duck sauce. Duck with sauce. Mixed roast (3 types of meat: lamb, pork, rabbit). Ascolana olives and cremini mushrooms. Mixed salad. Cake. Coffee. Wine and water. The portions were generous and excellent. Very fair price. I recommend it to everyone. I'll be back!!!

08/12/2025: We ended up in Isola almost by accident; and by accident we discovered this pearl in the heart of Abruzzo. We tasted the famous duck in pappardelle and were surprised to remember how, following a tradition now almost entirely overtaken by modernity and trends, the flavors were simpler, yet persistent both on the palate and in the mind. Listening to them again evokes the warmth of homely memories and the comfort of carefully crafted recipes passed down through the family. This place must be preserved; never lose your identity, your recipes, your local support. We need this: the cutlery that's always the same unless it's placed on the plate, the noise, the boiling sauce splashing everywhere, the accordion playing at the end of the meal, the menu that never changes in price or quality. Something must endure and be worth reliving.
