A lovely, traditional, warm, and welcoming place. Good food, especially the fantastic ribs. Friendly service and excellent service are guaranteed. Recommended.

I went with two friends for lunch on April 25th and we really appreciated the quality of the products, the chef's preparation, the friendliness of the waiters, and the friendly approach to customers, which makes the restaurant overall refined and very family-friendly. The option of sending friendly text messages to confirm and remind you of your reservation was very welcome. We will definitely be back to try other risottos and cutlets, as well as other items from the extensive menu.

An evening with friends, excellent food, including some typical Lombard dishes. The waiter who took our orders wasn't very knowledgeable about wine, and many items on the menu were no longer available. Other than that, we had a great time. The elephant ears are available with a wide variety of fillings and are truly delicious. It's definitely an experience worth repeating.

Everything I say is true. The elephant ear is huge and very good. Other typical and slightly vintage dishes on the menu are also nice to find.

A chaotic evening due to a table of 28 people, but once the dining room closed, we could hear each other. There was a mix-up in the risotto choices, but it was quickly remedied with an apology from the wait staff. The food was superb in flavor, but the appetizer was a bit sparse, which, however, meant we didn't overeat. A pleasant evening, and the waiters were helpful and friendly. An evening to repeat, perhaps with their famous cutlet round.

This isn't the first time we've eaten at this restaurant, which serves traditional Lombard cuisine. Every time we come here, we order the cutlet, which is delicious, superb, and accompanied by baked potatoes. The young staff is attentive and very friendly. The price is fair. We'll definitely be back.

I went for dinner on Saturday evening, first sitting at 7:30 PM. It was our first time; on the recommendation of a friend, we ordered the cutlet. Unfortunately, I have to say that the presentation of the dish was beautiful, but the cutlet had obviously been cooked beforehand; it was tough both to cut and to chew. It's a shame because the atmosphere and service were impeccable.

14/02/2026: The best kebab in the Varese province. Amazing meat. The quality of the meat is fabulous, the piadina and pita dough is incredibly soft and always cooked to perfection. The place is a bit neglected, but I highly recommend it; it's delicious.

21/04/2026: Dining at Bottega Lombarda was a truly rejuvenating experience. The attention to quality is evident from the moment you arrive: the bread and taralli accompanied by exquisite spreadable butter are a perfect start. We tried the breaded zucchini flowers: the ricotta inside was top-quality, a true delicacy. The rump steak was also excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned, incredibly tender, and accompanied by flavorful potatoes. The dessert also lived up to expectations, confirming the high quality of the cuisine. The service deserves special mention: the staff were very courteous, and the wait times were short, despite the attention to detail in the dishes. All this is complemented by a beautiful setting and an enviable panoramic location: the view, stretching from Campo dei Fiori to Sasso del Ferro, overlooking Lake Varese, creates a magical atmosphere. A well-deserved five stars for the food, service, and location. We'll definitely be back!
19/04/2026: The food was delicious. You can taste the traditional flavors of the dishes, which are very unique and delicious. The location is homey and welcoming, overlooking the lake, while the outside area is filled with colorful plants. You can also buy wine. Highly recommended! 😋
