A wonderful experience in a quaint restaurant with a splendid terrace. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The dishes are carefully prepared, original, and with just the right amount of flair. Excellent service. You leave the restaurant feeling satisfied and eager to return.

A charming location in the heart of the medieval village of Campiglia Marittima, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail.
We returned after a year, and the cuisine remains superb.
We ordered cod tempura, eggplant parmigiana tart, seared sesame tuna (so heartwarming!), and zucchini cannoli with blue pecorino cheese. To finish, a sphere of salted caramel tiramisu and a deconstructed pavlova.
Honorable mention for the pink pepper and lime-infused butter.
Beyond the consistently excellent cuisine, the welcome is extremely kind and punctual; despite an unexpected downpour, the staff managed to manage all the tables perfectly.

We had the most enjoyable dining experience at Il Canovaccio. The food was delicious. The presentation was flawless. The service was both classy and friendly. And the location was incredible (overlooking the beautiful and quaint Piazza del Mercato in Campiglia Marittima). We highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

We had dinner here on the beautiful terrace.
The pink peppercorn and lime butter was superb!
I had the roast suckling pig, which was delicious, as were the mashed potatoes and pepper sauce. My mother had the linguine with raw shrimp, and it was excellent!

This isn't the first time we've dined at Canovaccio in Campiglia Marittima, a beautiful village by the way, and each time, in addition to the warm welcome, we're surprised to taste excellent dishes, prepared with care and imagination and of the highest quality. The young chef is very talented. I can't understand why a restaurant of this caliber isn't mentioned in the
Michelin Guide.

We took advantage of our vacation in San Vincenzo to sample the local cuisine. Among the many restaurants we visited, we have to give top honors to "Il Canovaccio": a comfortable location, a very professional, kind, and helpful owner, as are all the staff. The dishes are high-quality, expertly prepared by the chef, and when you leave, you feel satisfied after experiencing the flavor and delicacy of dishes enhanced by the freshest ingredients and great professionalism. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Ristorante eccellente, situato nel centro storico di Campiglia Marittima. I piatti sono preparati con grande cura, ben presentati e dai sapori delicati ma decisi. Il servizio è impeccabile: lo staff è attento, cordiale e ti fa sentire davvero coccolato dall'inizio alla fine. I dolci, infine, sono una vera delizia. Consigliatissimo!

Tante volte a Campiglia, non ero mai stata in questo ristorante, anche se aveva attirato la mia attenzione, essendo in una caratteristica piazzetta nel centro del paese. Quindi il locale è carinissimo e curato, con possibilità di mangiare anche all'aperto. Ho assaggiato il totano ripieno di ricotta e scamorza, i cappellacci ripieni di pappa al pomodoro con bufala e basilico, la sfera di cioccolato con il babà al rum: un piatto più buono dell'altro! Servizio veloce, personale gentile e attento, prezzi in linea con la qualità offerta. Ci tornerò sicuramente, bravi!
