Ristorante L'Oasi In Carloforte

We were at this restaurant yesterday and what can I say? The food was truly excellent, the tuna was very fresh. We tried the tartare, carpaccio, and seared steak, all delicious. A special mention goes to the Spaghetti di Mamma Anna, which are truly spectacular! Highly recommended.

Excellent with a smiling service, typical island cuisine, absolutely worth it

The owner is very kind and welcoming, and given the responses to negative (and I might add nonsensical) reviews, he's also a gentleman. The dishes are beautifully presented, the portions seem small, but at the end of the meal you leave feeling just the right amount of fullness, satisfied, and not weighed down: just as it should be!

On our only day in Carloforte, we chose this restaurant by looking at online reviews, and it confirmed what we'd read. A lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service... and excellent food! Everything was expertly described and explained by the gentleman who welcomed us and promptly seated us! Highly recommended!

Spectacular, what can I say?! We arrived as a couple without a reservation, and the owner immediately found us two seats in the alley. It truly felt like we were in the alleys of Genoa. The appetizers, first courses, and wine were all excellent. The service was impeccable. The owner already knew what we wanted from the moment we told him we'd like to try the local dishes. Ready, steady, go! A series of delicious dishes awaited us: the octopus, cooked to perfection, served on a spectacularly flavorful mashed potato and saffron dish; the cappunada (a typical appetizer) with a pleasant, fresh flavor, diced tuna, and a delicious crostini. Not to mention the main courses... oh my, what a delight. Lastly, the Seadas were a must; I finally managed to eat a good one in a week's stay. We were truly delighted. The service was impeccable, thanks to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, and the cuisine was superb. If we ever return, it will definitely be another stop, and I highly recommend it.

We ate lunch in a very nice, welcoming place, the food was excellent, the spaghetti allo scoglio was superb, the tuna was delicious... excellent service, thanks to Alessandro... and to all the staff...

We landed on the island hungry and passed the first restaurant we found, at the second we met the owner (Alessandro) who very emphatically explained his menu to us, in the end without thinking too much we sat down! Fantastic service (also from the waiter Denis) everything is done with attention to detail, both in the kitchen and in contact with the customer! Dishes served well and in the right quantities, very fresh fish! We ate both the octopus, (which my aunt loved), the fantastically good seared tuna, spaghetti allo scoglio and that particular dish created by nonna (whose name I don't remember) the prices were right for the place and for what you eat, and for the service offered. The white myrtle was good, I had never tasted it ☺️ STOP AND EAT AT THIS PLACE. (I will recommend it to anyone who comes to these parts in the future)

I returned to Oasi di Carloforte with my husband and family after six years and found the same courtesy and friendliness from the owner and staff, high-quality cuisine, and excellent value. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the flavors of local cuisine, not just tuna, and spend a pleasant evening.

Personalmente ho mangiato benissimo, era tutto freschissimo e di grande qualità, con una preparazione che ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Consiglierei questo posto anche per l'ambiente informale. Il prezzo è in linea con i ristoranti di pesce. Ottima anche la proposta del vino, con delle ottime bollicine locali.

miglior tonno mangiato!! siamo stati una settimana carloforte e una volta provato qst ristorante non l abbiamo mai lasciato, andandoci ogni sera. Tonno in tutte le salse OTTIMO Pesce fresco a volontà ... ottima la tagliata di tonno!! Personale e servizio eccellente. locale molto curato, bellissimo mangiare all aperto. Consiglio qst ristorante a chiunque voglia mangiare Dell ottimo pesce fresco. fidatevi di ciò che vi dice il proprietario Alessandro è un maestro nell'arte culinaria del pesce e specialmente come detto prima nel tonno! Un forte abbraccio a tutto lo staff dell'oasi è stato un immenso piacere cenare da voi!
