If you are in Carloforte and are looking for an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience, L'Oasi is a must. Located in via Antonio Gramsci 59, this fish restaurant perfectly embodies the maritime soul of the island, offering excellent dishes in an environment with attention to the smallest details. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, with a characteristic touch that recalls the charm of the sea, making the place even more evocative. We had the pleasure of tasting a complete menu, starting with a tuna-based appetizer prepared in different variations, all delicious and perfectly balanced in flavours. As a first course, we chose spaghetti with sea urchins, a dish that was able to enhance the freshness and intensity of the sea with a perfect creaminess. The Carlofortina tuna, served as a second course, was simply divine: tender, tasty and cooked respecting local tradition. To conclude this extraordinary dinner, the house dessert, a tiramisu revisited with chocolate flakes, which managed to amaze with its balance between sweetness and lightness. All the dishes were prepared with the freshest ingredients, and the quality of the raw materials and the chef's mastery in balancing the flavors could clearly be perceived. The service was impeccable: the staff is knowledgeable, attentive and friendly, always ready to advise and passionately describe the dishes served. If you are in Carloforte, you cannot miss L'Oasi: a restaurant that celebrates the sea with excellent dishes and a unique atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Autumn Saturday, for lunch: we were advised to book (six adults and two children): it was (and I think it always is, here!) good advice, because the place is really sought after. Very positive first impact: pleasant atmosphere, quiet, comfortable and welcoming environment. We ordered starters, first courses and second courses, all different, to enjoy (with numerous cross-tastings) as many of the proposals as possible. The menu (presented in a very elegant paper form: something uncommon now...) is essentially based on the sea (the preparations with tuna were particularly appreciated); but it also suggests all the local specialities, typical of the Tabarchine tradition: the pasticcio, the cappunadda, the cascà, the bobba are perfect. Unanimous opinions: whatever the choice, the freshness and authenticity of the ingredients emerges, in well-prepared dishes, with an authentic and genuine flavour: after all, we ourselves were present at the delivery of the catch of the day, from which we then drew! The advice and explanations of the owner, who was always attentive and pleasantly present, were invaluable. The wine list is good, the service is truly excellent, thanks to a quick, courteous, professional staff. Generous portions, bill appropriate to the level, with an excellent quality/price ratio. In summary, a very positive experience (to be repeated: also to taste the chef's fish soup!): high quality food, with authenticity of flavors in a rich and varied offer.

Sabato autunnale, a pranzo: ci avevano consigliato di prenotare (sei adulti e due bambini): è stato (e credo sia sempre, qui !) un buon consiglio, perché il locale è veramente ricercato. Primo impatto assai positivo: atmosfera piacevole, ambiente tranquillo, confortevole e accogliente. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti, primi, secondi tutti differenti, per gustare (con numerosi assaggi incrociati) il maggior numero possibile delle proposte. Il menu (presentato in forma cartacea molto elegante: cosa poco comune, ormai …) è basato essenzialmente sul mare (sono state particolarmente apprezzate le preparazioni con il tonno); ma suggerisce anche tutte le specialità locali, tipiche della tradizione tabarchina: perfetti il pasticcio, la cappunadda, il cascà, la bobba. Giudizi unanimi: quale che sia la scelta, emerge la freschezza e la genuinità degli ingredienti, in piatti ben preparati, con sapore autentico e genuino: d’altronde, noi stessi eravamo presenti alla consegna del pescato del giorno, dal quale abbiamo poi attinto! Son risultati preziosi i consigli e le spiegazioni del proprietario, sempre attento e simpaticamente presente. Buona la carta dei vini, veramente ottimo il servizio, grazie a uno staff rapido, cortese, professionale. Porzioni abbondanti, conto adeguato al livello, con un eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. In sintesi, un’esperienza molto positiva (da ripetere: anche per gustare la zuppa di pesce dello chef!): cibo di alta qualità, con autenticità di sapori in un’offerta ricca e varia.
