We wanted to have a quick lunch when we came across the restaurant which from the outside looks like a simple fast food restaurant or a simple bar but inside there is a welcoming turquoise lunch and dinner room where nothing is missing and everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail detail, We were welcomed by a very kind middle-aged lady who made us sit at a table. The staff was generally humble but offered a lot of familiarity, it seemed like we were guests and not visitors, there were 4 of us + my nephew of a few months old who was welcomed with big smiles and lots of love. The menu (accessible to all) offers from first and second courses of land to first and second courses of seafood up to typical Sicilian dishes given their origin and pizzas which unfortunately we didn't try since we were already full, everything was delicious!! We will be back FANTASTIC😍😍

My husband and I enjoyed having a hot piping bowl of Pasta Fagioli at Lo Scalo for lunch today! We found the food to be delicious and the owners very friendly. Would definitely go back!

Excellent good, very kind owner

We ate here because of the good reviews. The food was good, a little under-spiced, but that's a matter of taste. The tiramisu was the worst we have ever eaten anywhere. It was an ice cream sundae filled with whipped cream, with a ladyfingers soaked in coffee in between, three ladyfingers spread around the edge, and a few chocolate sprinkles on top. It had just as little to do with the pictures here as it did with tiramisu. The two ladies in service were very friendly, but seemed overwhelmed. We waited 45 minutes for dessert, and the espresso we ordered at the same time came another 10 minutes later. The place was empty when we arrived around 7:30 p.m., but by 8 p.m. it became crowded and very loud. All in all, it took us until 10 p.m. before we had the espresso, which was a very long time. The price was actually ok, for what was ultimately offered, but too expensive.

Very cozy, kind and attentive staff. Delicious food.
