The food was amazing. We went in October and the owner Al is just the friendliest person along with his wife and chef. We ate there for 50% of our evening.

Cibo ottimo, fresco ed abbondante. Location stupenda, praticamente sei a Isolabella. Santino e moglie semplicemente stupendi, affabili, gentilissimi e disponibili. Alla fine del pranzo, ci hanno anche aiutato a trovare alloggio.

Santino the owner is very friendly, he opened 2 hours early just for us. in business for 50 years. Very authentic Italian restaurant. Quality food for a reasonable price, see photos for the menu.

Delicious pasta with seafood, perfectly done, the tuna salad was also very good. The atmosphere was amazing and the elderly people serving us welcomed us very warmly and served us nicely. My wife and I are very pleased. I highly recommend it

Very friendly, a cozy and familiar place with very good views. We allowed ourselves to be recommended a seafood pasta (but without tomato; and there were no problems), an exquisite freshly made pizza and a capresse salad that was delicious. The best restaurant in the area without a doubt. By a lot. Totally recommended.

Considering the crowds of tourists that Taormina attracts, it is a miracle to have lunch near the beach without succumbing to the disadvantages of overcrowding. The place is pleasant, quiet and with priceless views of the isole bella. The menu of the day; macaroni with sardine sauce and fennel and swordfish with potatoes, is suitable for the price of €28. The downside is that the dishes were literally drowned in tomato sauce and it was the kindness of the owners (a lovely couple) that compensated for this culinary nonsense

Preciosa comida y vino. El personal es muy amable y acogedor. Comimos allí 4 noches durante nuestra estancia y disfrutamos de cada comida que tuvimos. Mejillones en salsa de tomate picante increíble como lo fue el pescado fresco.

10/11/2024: Siamo ormai da tempo assidui frequentatori di questo locale. Sia in coppia che con amici. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia consumare un ottimo hamburger, braciole, kebab in compagnia.

06/01/2025: I went on December 31st and as an expert, I don't specify my details, I can say that the menu was very poor, first course of rice, there was only a spoonful of rice, not to mention another first course of number 3 only ravioli, and the portion of lobster with only a teaspoon of giardiniera inside with a splash of mayonnaise (very wrong) not to mention a pink Muss that you didn't know what flavor it was and I noticed that almost all of it was left, not to mention the touches of panettone that we were 7 people at the table there were yes and no only 4 slices of. Normal panettone, not to mention that in the small rooms they were cold. For the modest sum of 120 euros it is shameful, the only excellent thing and I was very satisfied was the dining room staff. Unfortunately I have been invited to ceremonies several times but I have noticed that it is getting worse and worse but for my part I would not recommend it to anyone,
02/01/2025: Historic place in Messina. Very nice place and above all the food is always exceptional. The service is punctual with kind and friendly waiters. A great place to celebrate any important event.
