Best restaurant in town. Been twice. Quality of service and food is always top-notch. Haven’t been in a long time, but expecting Lino to still be the amazing place it has always been. Proposed to my wife hear a few years back and Lino made it just perfect for the occasion.

A great find in the center of Pavia. The fillet was cooked to perfection, and overall, all the dishes were delicious. The service is worthy of a top-notch restaurant, with great attention to detail. The young but knowledgeable chef comes around the tables at the end of the meal, which is much appreciated. Italian music plays in the background throughout the dinner. We'll definitely be back, even with friends.

The cutlet looks very nice when plated, the type of breading is very crunchy, it seems to be also suitable for celiacs, but personally it is too thick.

I'd already been to the restaurant in downtown Pavia and decided to return, confirming my initial positive impression. The location is truly pleasant, with attention to detail and an elegant yet unpretentious atmosphere. The dishes are simple yet refined, with interesting pairings and excellent cuisine, precise in flavors and well-balanced portions. You can sense attention to detail in the selection of ingredients and the presentation. Unfortunately, the service is a letdown: the waitress, who was incredibly kind, found herself alone managing all the tables, which led to inevitable delays, especially in the initial phase (menus, orders, wine, bread, etc.). Considering the bill isn't exactly light, I would have appreciated a little more attention and coordination. What I wasn't entirely convinced by was the arrangement of the tables, which were too close together: it felt like everyone was dining together, with little privacy and a somewhat forced silence. The lighting, too, is a bit too bright and could use a facelift to make the atmosphere warmer and more relaxed. Overall, however, Lino Bistrot remains an excellent place: the food is well worth the visit, and with a few small tweaks to the atmosphere and service, it could become truly perfect.
