Very nice place...unfortunately, I don't know if it was very busy that day, but the service wasn't the best. They forgot we weren't even getting dessert, and the food wasn't there either. The rabbit had escaped from the plate, and the dessert was replaced with strawberry ice cream, which wasn't particularly special, without clearly letting us know.
We hope it was just one unpleasant incident...we'll be back and hope to share a better, different experience.

A truly SPECTACULAR experience. We had the appetizer platter and tartare, which were truly exceptional! Not to mention the first courses, the tagliatelle and paccheri, which were truly worth it. Then the desserts... a top-notch finish. The service was meticulous and attentive to detail, and above all, the staff was always attentive to the customer's needs and truly friendly. A truly unique experience, in a wonderful location. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

Returning to Podere Castel Merlo, seven years later, for an anniversary. Unfortunately, I don't live nearby, otherwise I'd always celebrate anniversaries here! This time, we dined outside. The garden was beautiful, with its lights creating a relaxing atmosphere, and the soft sound of the water in the beautiful pool in the background. Delicious food, beautifully presented, down to the smallest detail. Excellent service, compliments to the waiter: we were pampered from start to finish.
