Unique place for breathtaking views... Restaurant serving typical dishes such as polenta, polenta concia, sausage, stew, platters, cheeses, etc. A beautiful and practical idea is the picnic service, where you can order and eat outdoors at tables equipped with umbrellas.

A sold-out Ferragosto lunch.
Given the day, it was already a bonus to find a free table, and never mind that we brought our own trays—we couldn't have asked for more.
Within half an hour, our order was on our plates.
Great people, charming place.

High-altitude restaurant.
The menu is set, and you can choose between polenta and soup.
We had polenta, which comes with stew and sausage. As I mentioned, they bring cold cuts.
The view outside the hut is beautiful.

After 60 years in the restaurant business, Solitaire continues to offer excellent dishes (delicious polenta concia, stew, and sausage) in a particularly beautiful setting.

A restaurant we've been frequenting for years, serving traditional Aosta Valley cuisine.
We always enjoy a stroll through the woods and trails, then relax and refuel at the table with a traditional menu featuring local cured meats, polenta concia (a kind of polenta) accompanied by stew and sausage.
A vegetarian menu is available, as well as an evening menu featuring Aosta Valley soup.
Always a reliable choice despite the passing years, highly recommended.

Difficile spiegare le emozioni che si provano in questo posto.
Dall’infanzia che vengo portata qui a fare i grandi pranzi di famiglia o per feste.
Ancora oggi torniamo sempre, con amici , senza; rimane sempre come 18 anni fa , odore di legno, odore della polenta mentre percorri le scale, i riccioli di burro sul pane nero o la loro buonissima crostata di mirtilli 🫐 difficile a dir di no.
Continuate così , magari con un sorriso in più non sarebbe male :)
Ci vediamo al prossimo pranzo di famiglia ❤️
