The food was very good and reasonably priced. Restrooms were very clean and well-maintained, a highlight for Siena. Service was a bit sloppy; the bill arrived before the double. Triple seating was okay, but we felt a bit rushed out. Otherwise, it was a very nice place.

A hidden gem. Tucked away in a side street, you'll find a wonderful, traditional restaurant. Make a reservation, be sure to. The quality, service, and selection are superb. All in all, a definite recommendation, even with children and dogs.

There was air conditioning inside, which was very pleasant in the summer! The pasta was delicious, but the lasagna could have been a bit bigger (but it's only a primo, so it's OK). Aperol and Hugo were also good. The restrooms were fine.

Absolutely wonderful Lasagna. Had their bruschetta as well and can only sing praises for the entire experience. I arrived agitated and sweaty, and left with very high spirits and full (albeit still sweaty). Highly recommend if your in town!

Posto carino, in una stradina laterale tranquilla. Interno arredato con gusto e atmosfera piacevole, personale efficiente e molto gentile e cibo favoloso!!! Possiamo solo raccomandarlo!

Osteria da Gano

11/08/2025: The Osteria da Gano was a real hit! The restaurant was recommended to us by the host of our hotel Palazzo di Valli – and it was a top tip. Every single dish was convincing: – The Crostone with Cavolo Nero and Lardo was rustic and sophisticated. – The ravioli with pumpkin, gorgonzola and walnuts – creamy, nutty, perfectly balanced. – The tagliatelle al ragù bianco di cinta were a dream – the finest ragù from the Cinta Senese pig, typical of the region. – Also salad and vegetable side dishes: fresh, lovingly prepared, simply honest and delicious. The service was super friendly, attentive and calm - you feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy with loving details. Great value for money. Conclusion: If you are in Siena – go! A real recommendation for anyone who likes good Tuscan cuisine.
