We went to this restaurant for lunch. The owners were truly kind and courteous. The food was excellent, and the gluten-free options were delicious.

I had a truly wonderful time! As a vegan, I really appreciated the owners' helpfulness and hospitality. They offered me several vegan options, including seasonal ones, and anything but ordinary: not the "usual" pasta with tomato sauce or grilled vegetables. You wouldn't know it from the outside, but inside the restaurant is quite spacious, very welcoming, and authentic. The food was truly excellent! A truly positive experience, highly recommended!

Family-run, it's a real pleasure to spend an evening at Le Arcate. Everything is in order, including the wine list. The owners' kindness is a plus.

An old-fashioned trattoria. Simple but tasty cuisine. Attentive and friendly service. The only drawback is the dated atmosphere and the smell of fried food. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

16/01/2026: What a shame!! A missed opportunity...the villa is very beautiful and in a commanding position...it's a shame about the state of deterioration and near-abandonment.
15/12/2025: A truly 5-star hotel that lives up to its reputation! For a visit to the Lake Maggiore, Lake Varese, and Lake Como area, this is a really good hotel. The location is very quiet, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The adjacent park is perfect for a stroll and is lined with beautiful old trees. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, are very clean, and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. There was everything from coffee and tea to cakes, croissants, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, ham, and cheese... the ham was particularly delicious! There was also ample parking in front of the hotel and in the villa's courtyard. This hotel made our stay in the region truly exceptional.
