Ristorante Larossa In Alba

Unfortunately we didn't like it very much. It's not the first time we eat in a starred restaurant, and so we expected a different service (and not to be called "friends" by the waiting staff). The atmosphere is ok, but the music completely ruins the atmosphere. We have had better service in restaurants that are not yet starred. The food is nothing to write home about, more of an exercise in style than a real taste that will leave you speechless. Furthermore, both my husband and I were not well all night... disappointed. Lastly, they also allow pets in the restaurant (which I have nothing against), but this makes the restaurant even more informal

Fantastic experience, we went for a brunch on Sunday, beyond the goodness of the food and its quality, the added value is them, the chef and his wife Patrizia, fantastic and genuine people who make you feel at home.. ..his staff is also very good. Congratulations...experience that I recommend...BRAVI :-)

Not a positive experience...hot drinks arrived after having consumed croissants and almost at the end of the so-called "morning awakening", lack of clarity from a waiter who asked us to choose only one course avoiding waste when in reality we could choose multiple courses.... glass of champagne which wasn't champagne... on the other hand the food was very good... in any case I wouldn't go back....

We went to this place for brunch and the experience was really excellent. In addition to the quality of the food, which certainly deserves a mention, what impressed us most was the service: simply impeccable. Considering the price of the brunch formula (€55 each, including water and cover charge), we were amazed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. This level of attention and care towards the customer is rare to find, especially in formulas of this type. The quality-price ratio is exceptional: the brunch is very competitively priced, and what is served is truly plentiful. The portions are generous and the proposals varied. The flavors of the savory dishes are balanced and inviting, while the desserts - despite being refined and not banal - I found them, due to personal taste, a little too sweet and cloying. However, the chef's commitment to offering something particular and refined is evident. Another positive note goes to the room, a beautiful environment: a few tables, very spacious and well spaced, which make the atmosphere intimate and pleasant. It was a pleasure to note the presence of the chef and his wife, a detail that adds value to the experience. If I can give you some advice, start with the savory dishes and then move on to the sweets: the contrast will be more pleasant. We will certainly return to try the restaurant for dinner too, because this first impression was more than positive.

Excellent welcome, high quality brunch in a wide-ranging environment but the added value is the chef and his wife who with their friendliness and simplicity make you feel at ease. Must try.

Visited for unusual reasons: YouTube videos with Franchino Er Criminale. Brunch with my son who studies in Turin, and my wife, a splendid family experience. The welcome: we felt at home, a starry host who welcomes us with a warmth that I haven't found in a long time. This would be enough to close the review here, but it would be doing a disservice to the quality of the cuisine. A brunch is a "simple meal", and it is in the "simple" things that you see the qualities of a starred chef. 1) the humility (now a rare commodity) of preparing a starred menu for a young audience. 2) the ability to make everything - including strawberry jam - at the highest level. Congratulations, and thanks to Alessandro Bologna, for his great work!

Nice place at the foot of the hill. Very good food, delicate and tasty dishes! Obviously well deserved star, great quality. Less formal environment than other places of the same level but still very pleasant, modern and elegant. Special mention for the risotto! Something extraordinary! Definitely worth it. All very POP but with the Star. Experience to be repeated

Fine place, the service was quite slow but very professional. All in all I don't think that the overlall esperience giustifise the very high prices
