Turin brunch excellent experience. Good quality, efficient and courteous service from the waiter, empathy and friendliness from the owner, top, spacious environment. Open kitchen and chef Original idea. Really good

We were in this splendid restaurant yesterday, we couldn't wait to come and meet the Chef and Patti in person, as they have now become two familiar figures for us who often see them together with Giulia and Franchino er Criminale (another character we love). So it was a must to go to both 🥴. We chose to have Chef Andrea Larossa's Turin Brunch and arrived at the restaurant comfortably by bus starting from the center of Turin. Once inside we are greeted by Patty defined by Franchino as "a tiger of the room" and I can confirm why she immediately overwhelms us with her energy and her smile. The attentive and thoughtful dining room staff accompanies us to the table, right in front of the Chef and his team who work in the beautiful and spotlessly clean open kitchen. Let's start with some delicious and frothy butter to spread together with an amazing homemade jam (made with red fruits if I'm not mistaken), and some delicious croissants and other pastries. I was already afraid of filling myself up like this but I tried to leave a little space free to enjoy as many things as I could. They bring us drinks, two very frothy cappuccinos, and then also two juices. We proceed by choosing the Eggs Benedict, wow what a space thing, a perfectly cooked egg topped with a cloud of frothy mayonnaise on a toasted bread, the mayonnaise was something very light, forget the classic mayonnaise this was a cloud. My partner orders the Galette Breton, smoked provola friarielli and steamed egg, amazing and then together we take my Croque Monsieur, my goodness, what was that croque monsieur, I was already full so I was starting to struggle, the portions are not those of a "constipated" starry chef but very generous, on the plates, satisfying. Patty urges us to also try the pea and broad bean soup with calamari and pecorino, and thank goodness because it was adorable, I love pea soups but this obviously had a delicate and multifaceted flavor at the same time. Our stellar brunch ends here, but we could have had something else and we would have still remained within the requested and in my opinion very honest figure of €55 per person. Then the chef stopped for a long time with us to chat, which was absolutely appreciable and denoted great humility and made us love him even more. Patty and Andrea are two hard workers, who love what they do, they love seeing the happy faces of their guests, they love dedicating care and attention to making them feel good. We will be back soon to enjoy a nice dinner this time. Thanks for everything guys it was truly a pleasure ⭐️ 🌸

I went to the Larossa Restaurant last Saturday 19th April with my brother for the brunch offered on weekends. I'm not social at all, and in this case I'm sorry because the restaurant and ALL of them deserve much more than these few lines. It is a refined and rock reality at the same time. We were welcomed like English royalty by the irreplaceable Andrea who pampered and spoiled us throughout the experience. Patrizia, the exquisite, competent, very strong hostess is the extra something... That detail which, added to the immeasurable skill of Chef Larossa, makes all the difference in the world. You can breathe heart, intelligence and love in those elegant and welcoming rooms. The brunch begins with a welcome from the Chef that I will regret until I return: incredible croissants, pan au chocolat and bread; not to mention the butter, the raspberry jam and the black tea, which I have never had so good. THE CAPRESE!!!!!! Tears of pure joy! For the savory part: the eggs Benedict moved me; the broad bean, pea, calamari, black pepper and pecorino romano soup is indescribable, you can only say: "go and try it, of course!"; and then the bomb, the explosion that my taste buds are still here dancing after a week.. cod, broccoli, taleggio and coffee powder.. I still want to cry with emotion. Never experienced something like this!!! All this with attention to us, to our 1000 allergies (I'm not joking) that made the whole experience ecstatic. Now I can only advise the world to try this sublime experience. I will return because the Chef's Croque Monsieur is there waiting for me and because I can't wait to try the tasting menus offered in the evening too... I already have shivers... in conclusion, thank you Chef, thank you Patrizia, thank you Andrea and thank you to all the staff: a team of professionals who make the Larossa Restaurant simply unique. Welcoming and friendly staff. The room remains a bit noisy even though it is large and has few seats. Very clean bathroom. Speaking of the cuisine, I was not fully satisfied: I chose the POP tasting menu which traces dishes from different regions of Italy. It took over from the Turin POP, which is a shame because perhaps I would have appreciated it more. I found the use of pecorino/parmesan repetitive and annoying and I suffered from the excessive flavor of the dishes. In the appetizer there was a base of cheese in both the parmigiana and the frico and then the cacio e ovo pallotta "killed" my mouth, which only tasted of pecorino in a very intrusive way. The other starters were good and interesting, a shame about this redundancy (the veal with tuna sauce also pushes the flavor, a ball that absolutely needs to be seen again). The amatriciana ramen is very interesting and good, but after these dishes, pushing further on the pecorino bothered me. Subsequently the chicken with a sauce that was still too strong and savory failed to amaze me. To finish the tiramisu, the wafer on top of the chocolate was delicious, but I was expecting something more special. I can't consider myself fully satisfied with the experience... too bad!

I found some videos of chef Larossa with Franchino the criminal that I have been following for some time and taken by curiosity but also by the sympathy that the chef inspired, I went with my family to spend an evening discovering this restaurant. The place is industrial in style but everything is seasoned with refined aesthetic elements. Not the usual furnishings that one generally expects from a starred hotel but this is precisely what makes you feel at ease. We were welcomed by the chef's wife, Mrs. Patrizia, a very nice person who explained the menu to us. Mention also goes to Andrea who is one of the waiters who, in addition to being friendly, also has an iron memory when it comes to remembering the names of each diner in the room. The menu is made up of particular appetizers in small bowls, one tastier than the other and with a bread that accompanied everything of unparalleled goodness. The first an excellent risotto and the second duck with potatoes. The dessert was also very good and the meringues at the end completed the dinner. At the end of the dinner we had the pleasure of meeting the chef who chatted amiably with us. I must say that I was very satisfied with the dinner and the environment and I highly recommend it, quality food prepared by a chef who deserves a higher star. The bill has no surprises given that there are two menus and you can choose knowing what you spend, however with a good bottle of wine we are around one hundred euros. I attach some photos.

Beautiful starred experience, we chose the imprint menu, more refined and with very exotic flavours, in my opinion. Minimal and relaxing environment. Impeccable service.

04/05/2025: We stayed in this magnificent place, what to add….far above our expectations!!! With a group of friends we were in the Langhe for a nice tour in these truly wonderful places... I booked from the site, for dinner... When we found ourselves in front of this show we were speechless... Delicious dinner and excellent service!!! Well done 🤩

Pizzeria Ristorante L'Italiana

09/05/2025: I was last night at Pizzeria L'Italiana in Piobesi d'Alba and I must say that the experience was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere of the place is warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends. The real protagonist, however, was the pizza. The dough was light and digestible, cooked to perfection in the wood-fired oven, and the toppings were fresh and of excellent quality. I tried their special pizza "Propea", followed by the dessert canolo decomposto, an explosion of authentic flavours. The service was impeccable: the staff are kind, attentive and always ready to advise. Even though the place was quite crowded, the waiting times were short. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. I found the prices absolutely honest considering the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparation. I highly recommend Pizzeria L'Italiana to anyone who is in Piobesi d'Alba and wants to enjoy a real Italian pizza in a pleasant environment. I will definitely be back!
01/05/2025: Good pizza and fantastic staff! Despite the pizzeria being full, the waiter found us a hole for two takeaway pizzas.
