Ristorante L'Ape Regina In Monteleone d'orvieto

With enormous regret I have to revise my evaluation. Returning enthusiastically to the restaurant, whose only flaw was the excessive use of trinkets and things hanging everywhere in the previous times, we ordered typical dishes... but unfortunately, despite the pleasantness of the very kind lady, we found very different cuisine and flavors that had nothing to do with old experiences. We were very disappointed! Maybe the pizzeria will have its reason...but we won't risk the test! A real loss! Sin!

Well-kept and very welcoming farmhouse! We were slightly disappointed with the starter, as soon as we arrived in Umbria we had the only prerogative of tasting a nice and good platter of cured meats and cheeses, but in ours there was very little of this dish. However the rest of the food was good, we enjoyed the tagliatelle with fresh truffle on top! Our Sunday lunch was quite rushed because, although it was not late, when we were the only customers in the restaurant (we were still enjoying the second course), the background music was turned off and we were not even asked if we wanted a sweet (attention instead paid to other customers who left before us).

The pizza, in particular, is amazeballs, but frankly, so is everything else. It’s ideal for the pleasant summers in the area, but when the weather turns cold, the inside is really quite cozy - in a “this used to be my uone” kinda way 🤗

Returned after a few years. Always excellent cuisine. Fabulous croutons. Excellent service with good prices

While walking around Monteleone di Orvieto (also very nice) we stopped to eat in this restaurant. Everything was very good, generous portions and a fair price. Homemade pasta reigns supreme and you can feel the quality. Rustic but well-kept environment.

A wonderful experience. We showed up spontaneously on a Wednesday evening at opening time, we immediately got a table in a well-heated and beautifully decorated room. The owner is very nice. The food was wonderful. The pizza bread was one of the best I've ever eaten. The meat is absolutely top notch and in my opinion unbeatable for the price. The pasta also tasted very good. All in all, it's a shame that we only tried this restaurant on the last evening, otherwise we would have gone there much more often.

We went for Easter lunch and had a great time, very good handmade fresh pasta and also the abundant lamb and perfect cooking

La tradizione è di casa, tanta cortesia e pasta fatta veramente a mano . Gli umbrichelli e le tagliatelle di una volta. I sapori che non ti aspetti, in un ambiente pieno di calore Consigliatissimo.
