A hotel that has existed since the early 1900s and enjoys a truly enviable location, overlooking Lake Como. The decor is a bit retro, as it has remained exactly as it was in the 1980s. However, everything is very clean, with courteous but unpretentious staff. Breakfast in the morning can be enjoyed while gazing out at the lake through a large window, with friendly and courteous waiters. Parking is also available in front of the hotel for a fee.

This place will be etched in my memory for a long time. It has a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful area and amazing views. Hotel amenities are very basic but it does the job, especially given the price is very reasonable.

The view from the hotel is absolutely magical. Lorenzo at the front r desk is kind and very informative. The tiny roads in Italy are not for the feint of heart, but this hotel has plenty of parking and once you arrive you are assured a pleasant experience. Would prefer a room on one level.

An ideal place for those seeking authenticity, refinement and tranquility.

We had to book last minute and we only stayed one night. Room was ok, it has the essentials but the staff not friendly or helpful. Breakfast had a few of options but in our experience we felt like we were in a ghost hotel, there was no staff in the breakfast room for a while. View is gorgeous though. Must be different in high season.

I have known this hotel for many years, the management has changed. The position is breathtaking, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and accommodating, there was only one small thing today at breakfast where a lady who wasn't very friendly in service, but what does it mean maybe she had a bad day. In summary, it is a great hotel with a unique view over Lake Como
