A unique and magical place we can't get enough of. This place is a dream, the terrace and the view it offers during meals are unique. Excellent food, reasonable prices, and excellent service!

In the maze of alleys and staircases of Ragusa Ibla, we wanted to find a nice place to end our sightseeing with a pleasant dinner. We ended up at "La Terrazza dell'Orologio," and let me say right away: it was a truly wonderful end to a wonderful day. The food was not only delicious and of excellent quality, but also offered a wide variety, right down to the dessert. We had pizza (a very large selection), which is a must in a touristy place, and it was very generously topped with delicious ingredients. We also had Sicilian meatballs, which were equally delicious. I've forgotten the names of the desserts, but both were something different from the "tourist mainstream" (so no tiramisu). Both were extremely tasty. We also had an excellent and attentive waiter who, for example, described the desserts we weren't familiar with beforehand. The ambiance was rustic, as you would expect from a house in this city (unfortunately, due to the time of year, we couldn't use the terrace that gives the restaurant its name). The prices were absolutely reasonable. In short: Anyone who eats at "La Terrazza dell'Orologio" will not be disappointed. If we come back to Ragusa Ibla, "La Terrazza dell'Orologio" will definitely be on our dining list again ;-)

I had a delicious dinner at this restaurant and would highly recommend a meal here. I had a salad of oranges and fennel to start, and the orecchiette with beef and Ragusa cheese for my main. Both were excellent; the salad was fresh and crisp, the pasta dish rich and indulgent, with tender beef and tasty cheese. Service was prompt and helpful, and the host very welcoming and genuinely hospitable. As a bonus, the setting within the foundations of an ancient castle is very striking and atmospheric, our dining room was a stunning vaulted stone chamber. One word of advice for those who want to visit: I found the route to the restaurant from via XI Febbraio to be much easier to navigate than the path (running through via Ioppolo) recommended by certain *cough* navigation apps.

We had dinner there on Christmas Day. Everything was delicious, with excellent service. Recommended!

An absolute must if you are looking for a restaurant to eat pasta in this lovely socilian town. The owner waited our table and he was super welcoming and nice. The terrace was closed when we got there but the food was incredible.

Located just steps from Ragusa Ibla, nestled among stairways and a maze of narrow streets, it serves traditional Ragusan dishes. It's a shame we couldn't dine outside with a view (three of us ate inside), but perhaps in December it's better this way. The black pork ragù with ricotta ravioli is a must-try.

The best pizza of our stay in Sicily. The owner is very friendly.

We hesitated to come here after reading some of the reviews, but we had a very tasty lunch of the pasta with Gorgonzola and walnuts and two sides (oranges with fennel and cherry tomatoes with capers). We’ve struggled to find many fresh veggie options in Sicily in November, so we appreciated the available side options, which were refreshing. We were offered bread service, had a tasty glass of red wine, and the service was pleasant.
