A fairly quick lunch, with simple first courses. The waiter was kind and efficient. The problem was with the final payment, when not only was the cover charge added even though it was no longer possible, but more importantly, the dishes ordered/received at the table and their prices were changed. Totally unprofessional behavior that we let pass only because it was already semi-ridiculous to see someone deny the truth for a few euros more. We definitely won't be returning.

We had such a wonderful experience at this lovely Italian restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming — you can really feel the care and passion behind everything they do. The food was absolutely delicious — from start to finish. We especially loved the piglet (so tender and perfectly cooked!) and the panna cotta, which was one of the best we’ve ever had — silky, light, and full of flavour. Every dish felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared, and the service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. A true hidden gem that deserves every bit of praise. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommended! 🇮🇹✨

Ad accogliervi un cameriere gentile e preparato insieme al titolare/chef vi guideranno in un autentico mare di sapori: potrete degustare il pescato fresco del giorno, antipasti al gusto di mare, alici e salmoni, cozze e tutto quello che il mare ha da offrire!Per soddisfare anche chi preferisce i sapori della terra, non mancano gli antipasti abruzzesi con salsiccette di cinghiale, pecorino, prosciutto di montagna, carne chianina, funghi, tartufi....Ottima la carta dei vini, squisiti i dolci e il conto è più che onesto!Se siete nei paraggi, vi consiglio caldamente di

Sardinian restaurant that reflects its traditions ad hoc, excellent food and very kind staff, despite unexpected! Welcome with so much attention starting from the welcome prosecco up to their myrtle at the end of the meal! Very normal prices and the possibility of making fixed menus at 20 euros! Come and visit them!

19/06/2025: Everything was delicious, from the pinsa to the cod salad, to the carpaccio, to the meatballs, in short the quality of the raw materials was really high and the dishes were not predictable. Excellent wine list and the owner was delightful.
06/06/2025: Whether it's an aperitif, lunch, dinner or after dinner, Luigi and his staff always offer the best. Excellent wine list with a wide selection of gins. An oasis in the center of Piazza Mazzini.

Ostaria La Babbiona

07/09/2025: We stayed at La Babbiona in Civitavecchia and it was a truly wonderful experience! The owner, known as La Babbiona, and her husband welcomed us with rare kindness and helpfulness: even though we arrived at 10:15 PM, slightly late, they waited for us without any problem and made us feel right at home. The dishes were delicious, with attention to detail and generous portions. A great added bonus: they have AIC-certified gluten-free options, a guarantee of safety and quality for those, like us, who require special attention. The price was very fair, especially considering the quality and the family atmosphere. After dinner, we stopped to chat with the owners, who are wonderful, genuine people, and passionate about their work. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat well, feel pampered, and experience an authentic experience in Civitavecchia. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
