It’s a very nice, tiny place. Service is nice, food too. Not sure why it’s marked as expensive. It’s not. At all. Portions are small though. Full of foreigners. The only con is that expectations are so high due to their stellar reputation that it’s basically impossible for them to live up to them 🙃.

Beautiful! We were searching for the best sunset view restaurant at the centre of Como but almost no sunset was visible, just a bit of golden rays which was disappointing. We ate grilled fish of the day and recommended. The “sweet” wine in their menu was amazing! Not that sweet at all but reallyyy good Italian wine ☺️

Very beautiful and quiet spot! Food was delicious, staff was friendly but the bread that they gave is was rockhard! For an expensive restaurant they cant serve day old bread. All in all good.

I got a bunch of free food because didn't bring the appetizers before the main course and gave us like three times as much food as we should have gotten for free as an apology. Also the view is cool

We had a great experience here. The staff are amazing. Beautiful wine and views. The ragu was delicious but the portions are very small for the price.

We decided to eat here after we finished driving a boat we rented from Lake by Boat (highly recommend renting your own boat, btw). We walked up without a reservation and they kindly let us in. Such a great atmosphere, beautiful views and a great meal. Would definitely go back again for the service, atmosphere, views and food.

The view of the lake is stunning at the tip of Bellagio. The staff are highly trained, professional and knowledgeable however they seemed determined to speed up the process and we felt rushed to end our meal as if it was a race. The food was good but nothing impressive and the portions were on the smallish side. The first plate was served immediately as if the food had already been prepared, with the main dish also served within a couple of minutes of our first dish plates having been cleared. It was still our best dinner. A slower pace and bigger portions would have made it perfect.

Trattoria Crotto Valdurino

23/08/2024: Si sa, da quando il lago è invaso dai turisti mangiare in riva o nelle vicinanze e’ diventato caro dappertutto ma una volta al Crotto Val Durino sapevi di mangiare come tradizione comanda a prezzi onesti. Non è ahimè più così e ormai mangiare qui o in altro ristorante del lago poco cambia. Tutto buono eh, sia chiaro, ma prezzo totalmente spropositato.
22/08/2024: La posizione la fa da padrona: splendida vista sul lago godibile da un bel terrazzo raggiungibile da una non poco impegnativa scalinata. E' un ibrido tra trattoria, crotto e ristorante comunque molto molto piacevole. Personale giovane e gentile, molto discreto. I piatti offerti rispettano la tradizione del lago, oltre i classici. Prezzi medi-alti, comunque nell'ottica del lago di Como. Consigliabile.
