I visited Limonaia di Villa Senni for the first time, taking advantage of an event in Scarperia and wanting to treat my family to a special evening. The entrance itself is a spectacular calling card: the corridor of plants, the monumental tree, the elegant yet never stuffy atmosphere. The staff was immediately friendly and very welcoming. We focused on the first courses: gnocchi and fettuccine with truffle and mushrooms, truly sensational, rich, balanced dishes that perfectly showcased the raw ingredients. Then we indulged in the Florentine steak: excellent quality, impeccably cooked, and evidently aged, but for us—three of us, with my wife only tasting a small piece—perhaps it was too generous. With such a successful first course, we probably would have done better to stick to that approach. The wine list is extensive and well-constructed; we chose a local prosecco that complemented the dinner with freshness. The prices are above average, but consistent with the quality of the location, the cuisine, and—if I remember correctly—the Michelin-starred restaurant. In short: beautiful location, excellent first courses, impeccable service. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an elegant experience in Scarperia.

I am always looking for restaurants where the raw materials are excellent, yesterday I was in this location for the first time and I must say I was really enthusiastic both for the proposal of their menu and for the professional and non-invasive service, highly recommended for the quality and the refined environment. We will return!

Never tasted such a good tartare! Everything was great, from the location to the starters, the wine, and the meat. Highly recommended, I was really happy.

We had lunch here with our ten-year-old son during a leisurely tour of the Mugello area. Lunch at La Limonaia was an absolutely positive experience. We had a Tuscan antipasto, whose cured meats were of the highest quality, with a special mention for the polenta with chicken livers, the best I've ever tasted. Then came the fried porcini mushrooms, perfect and incredibly crispy, and the Mugello-style tortelli with both ragù and porcini mushrooms. The pasta and filling were excellent, with generous and tasty toppings that weren't heavy. We also had a tagliata with truffles, which was very fragrant, the meat tender and flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The mango sorbet was excellent. The wine list features both well-known and renowned labels, as well as refined and local ones. The service was impeccable, with impeccable timing and attention to detail. The prices were in line with the perceived quality and expertise. We'll definitely return for the Fiorentina steak. Highly recommended.

We discovered it by chance and were captivated. Excellent quality food, fantastic hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere despite the large number of tables with children. And, if I'm not mistaken, even furry friends are welcome. I love animals, and any establishment that accepts them is top-notch. We felt pampered. Highly recommended.

Back after 2 years but still a guarantee, the owner is affable and helpful, he proposed a really interesting appetizer of cured meats and cheeses..sublime (as a second course) the composition of tartare...also good the guys in the dining room
