I went for dinner at the beginning of the week out of season so there were plenty of free seats, a modest wine list and a truly superb quality of dishes

A quiet and refined place with well-spaced tables. The food is a bit pricey but very good, no complaints there. The customer service is fantastic, and the wine list is excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

My family and I had dinner at La Limonaia di Villa Senni, and it was a truly enjoyable evening. The restaurant is elegant and refined, with a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The setting is well-organized, and the attention to detail is evident. We started with excellent truffle-filled first courses, well-prepared and rich in flavor. When it came time for the steak, they brought a tray to our table with several types of meat to choose from, all high-quality and with different characteristics: a detail that demonstrates great attention to the ingredients. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The desserts also confirmed the excellent quality of the cuisine. Professional and attentive service. A restaurant suitable for both a romantic dinner and a business meeting.

The restaurant was welcoming, with friendly and helpful waiters from start to finish. As for the food, I especially tried the Valentine's Day menu: everything was truly excellent and tasty, even the fried food, which was neither greasy nor heavy (just perhaps a little redundant due to the coccoli at the beginning of the meal and the fries and fried vegetables as a side dish). Otherwise, the evening continued smoothly, and we headed home happy to have chosen La Limonaia di Villa Senni and excited to return again.

The location speaks for itself: a villa in the Mugello countryside with a pool and garden. The food is excellent, from the starters to the excellent meat main courses. Refined table settings, a nice selection of wines, and friendly and attentive waiters. Highly recommended.

12/03/2026: I enjoyed my food, and the service was good. The management isn't what I was used to. The place is more touristy than I was used to. I see it in the customers, the prices, and the portion sizes.
10/03/2026: On Sunday evening, in the company of a friend, I happened upon this delightful trattoria, located in one of those alleys near Piazza della Sognoria. The welcome was top-notch; it felt like home, in a simple and refined setting that immediately puts you at ease. The service was the same: attentive and friendly, despite the informal atmosphere. The menu is authentic and local, far removed from the touristy offerings that are now proliferating everywhere. I tried the lampredotto-filled ravioli creamed in a mouth-watering salsa verde. For true lovers of Tuscan cuisine, especially Florentine, this reinterpretation was surprising and exceptional. I will definitely return, perhaps to try the lasagna with game ragù or one of their appetizers with Tuscan cured meats and cheeses. I recommend it to everyone. Laura
